It really is unfortunate that the best RB in the league is wasting all of his talent in Dallas. Despite carrying the ball 63 times for 346 yards (including a 68 yard scamper) and 2 scores for Dallas, the Birddogs are still 0-3, with one of those losses being a massive collapse against Minnesota after being up 14-0. What makes Kai so special is that he’s just a rookie! It’s not every season that you see a rookie standing ahead of the pack, if Kai can keep this up then I don’t see why he’s not the favorite for Rookie of the Year, RB of the year, MVP? Shit give this guy all of the awards. Hard to win that stuff when you’re on an 0-14 team though.

And to think that @OrbitingDeath thought I was crazy to put him on my short list for Offensive Player of the Year at the start of the season.

The season is long, anything can happen Wink I do hope your right ofcourse

I was tagged by someone asking "yo wtf."

Thats asking for my opinion, so yes I went in and gave it. In none of my responses was I overtly rude, did I directly curse at anyone, or did I resort to any form of personal insult. I had an opinion and I defended it. The Minnesota LR on the other hand did get personal and did resort to name-calling and personal attacks. I don't quite care - I've been called worse - but if we're going to parse out situations its worthwhile to go in and actually look at what happened.

My biggest issue with this entire ordeal is how its shocking that a member of HO should have an opinion. When we don't have opinions and keep to ourselves we're blasted for being insular and promoting group think. When we're transparent with our opinions and back it up with the data we have or our thoughts we're blasted for having opinions that don't line up with a certain sect of the league.

At its core I gave my opinion about a situation. This article took shots at Dallas - direct ones that even the author admitted to taking. I came in and responded. Lets look at the situation: they bashed us for being 0-3. That's fair, we are. That being said there are always different situations. For example, an 0-3 team can still be having fun in their LR or still be developing players well, etc. I have a right to respond with my opinion about the situation, and at the core of my message is that. Sure, we're 0-3 lets all meme not winning in the DSFL. But that's not what the DSFL is about.

If you want to talk shit thats fine but expect responses.

I'm open to hearing criticism about my response to this, but please bring the receipts if you want to. What this seems to be about is someone being upset that a HO member has an opinion and is willing to stand by it. If you can find where I made this personal, please point it out and I'll acknowledge it. I can point out where the Minnesota players did - when a former DSFL GM and current expansion GM started calling me a dick in the Minnesota LR for having an opinion different from theirs that was critical of something he loves. I was only even involved in that discussion because I was tagged with someone looking for my opinion.
Not really wanting to keep this going but I want to add my input. 1. Someone @ you asking wtf yo? in response to your comment is not asking for your opinion. It’s asking you wtf yo, or more simply put are you butt hurt or just fucking around. Once again not asking your opinion about anything....at all just clarification. 2. From my understanding you addressed everything and everyone else other than the person that at’d you. Making me think you really didn’t care about explaining your comment and more so addressing literally everything else. The rest of it is whatever because it is your opinion and I don’t really care to much about that.

RE: *S25 DSFL RB Rankings - Thiath - 10-15-2020

I've enjoyed this show for the most part, however. I'm still waiting to see some more character development from some of the side characters, it seems like the show runners just added them in and completely abandoned them within the same episode. It really feels like a roosterteeth production and the industry needs to evolve past this. I'm hopeful that the season wraps up soon, as it seems the main plot thread has ventured off quite harshly since it's inception. I understand what they were trying to do, but the redemption arc really doesn't seem to be working and I think they should just abandon it at this point. It really does feel like they're trying way too hard to make their characters overly complicated in some regards, perhaps to make them seem more grounded. However, as the theme of this goes, perhaps they should just stick to the action sequences. As that's really what the show has been known for. Zamir as a secondary villain is quite possibly the best writing in the show. While they try to make him the antagonist, he works far better in the comic relief role. Though his shenanigans throwing off the heroes can be fun at times, it feels like they're beginning to rely on it too much. Hopefully, the climax will be worth all this build up. I personally think the waffle quest episode, while it was clearly produced to fill a timeslot. Is the best episode so far, it doesn't get overwhelmed with the seemingly unending conflict the writers are looking for. It gives a much more concrete look at some of the characters motivations. I think that's something they could certainly use more of. The problem you always run into with writing characters in the way they have here. Is that you often force them into being incredibly one note. Why branch out when the money is still printing right? Of course there is an argument to be made, that you shouldn't break something that works just fine. Innovation is the key to success. If this does get greenlit for a second season, I'm hoping they at the very least incorporate more episodes like waffle quest. As I personally am a huge fan of seeing characters develop. Also, could you please bring back some of the characters you brought in only for the waffle episode? Their chemistry worked so well and they were hilarious! On another note, it really feels like there's just a lot of people to keep track of in this universe. Most of which we aren't ever given a real understanding of their importance to the plot. As such, whenever a new character is introduced, it sometimes feels like it's not earned, as they will most likely be forgotten about in the next episode. IF you need new characters, why not bring back the ones you've already used? I know I've spent a lot of time on this point, but I feel it's important due to the seemingly lax nature of character writing within the show itself. A few positives to end the review before the finale. The soundtrack is absolutely bangin' I can't believe they managed to somehow make country dance house work but all the more props to them. I really enjoyed seeing Kendrick Lamar's "Good Kid M.a.a.d City" make several appearances throughout the season. Though the Britney Spears remake of "M.a.a.d City" felt a bit out of touch. Despite the shows often confusing, and sometimes incomprehensible plot, I'd still give it a solid 7/10 as it feels like one of those things you can just sit down and enjoy even after watching it several times. It's the kind of show that Netflix has needed desperately after recent blunders.
