As Lesean Paris Crooks enjoys his short break in the great Texas winter weather after a big win against New Orleans to further improve the Copperheads' playoff chances, he comes home to find a small but bulky package on his door. Crooks is curious as to who could've sent him a Christmas gift as although he has made many acquaintances in his brief stint, he also has been rarely seen outside of team facilities. He has been very recluse since Thanksgiving so it is very interesting --- and riveting --- that he has received a package.

After settling down in his Round Rock estate, Crooks opens up is package to discover it is a box, a box full of photographs. A very old school and traditional gift. The pictures provide a timeline of events that have occurred since Crooks last visited his current and former teammates. The first picture is of the London Royals' trophy cabinet, once home to just one Conference Championship trophy by the time Crooks left, the Royals made the Ultimini 3 times since Crooks departed in the team's 3rd season. The second picture includes the team's championship celebration over Norfolk with the likes of Mattress Caidaire, Harrison Andrews, Charlemagne Cortez, Gunner Thornbjornsson, Frank Michell, L'Glazzy Burfict, Albert Ruschman, and Tayshawn Crunk. Crooks notices that Syl and High arent in the photo and realizes that Magluibyet and Harrison Andrews have taken over GM duties.

The next pic must've slipped in by accident and is a little mature to discuss. The other pic he finds is of Baltimore from when the Copperheads came to play them earlier in the season. He notices some new faces such as Haynandi and ex-teammate Dermot Lavelle Jr. as well as some of his ex-Hawks teammates that are no longer around such as Captain Rogers and Derred DeVille. The last pic he finds if of Austin Copperheads noblemen Tyler Montain and Colt Mendoza, checking out Jackie Daytona at a Bondi Beach game, with Honolulu players and it looks like they are giving mean eyes to Heath Evans and Memento Mori(who are wearing Otters' gear). Evans seems to be chatting up Sergio Kitchens who I notice isnt on our team anymore.

Man, this was a great gift, I sure did miss a lot(well for the sake of the point task he did) and now I feel like it's going to be even tougher to jump back in the discord with all the fluidity of this league in such a short time span.

Today, I found a package at my door that was sent to me by my former teammate Jeeroy Lenkins. When Jeeroy was on the team, he always liked to give me a hard time about any interceptions or throws or anything I did in general because I was a rookie. At first I did not know at all why he would send me out of the blue. However, it arrived on the Thursday after the game where I threw my first interception of the season. I always knew that Lenkins would go the distance to troll me or give me a hard time but I did not think he would ship a package all the way from his new home in Germany to Minnesota. When I opened it up, it was the first ball I had ever thrown an interception of in my rookie year. He had signed the ball and wrote “Too Many More” right on top of the laces. Of course with the tough love though, he is still one of my closest buds in the league and sent me some tickets for me to go watch Berlin play at Philly, my new ISFL team. Jeeroy sent a good present, and almost exactly what I would expect from him.

Asher would open the gift and most likely find a piece of equipment. It would likely not be anything major, because being a veteran starter on the Honolulu Hahalua ensures that he is paid enough to afford professional grade equipment through the team, but it could be something smaller, like a pair of gloves or mouth guard. It likely would also include some non-sports related gift like piece of tech, such as a new smartwatch or gaming console. Asher could only assume it is from his brother, Tyler Montain with the Austin Copperheads. Asher and Tyler talk throughout the season. It is a combination of congratulations for different accomplishments and highlights to league news to some old fashioned trash talk. However, because of this discussion, they are also always talking about the latest and greatest in gear technology and hearing or seeing it in action on the field. They would undoubtedly want to support each other's on field performance to make sure they were both competing at the highest level. They also both enjoy the gadgetry that seems to be coming out on a regular basis these days, and would want to share it with each other or would want to create new ways to bond from different parts of the world. Video games would server as a good way to connect without physically being close to each other. Therefore, Asher would be able to likely assume that it came from him because Asher in all liklihood sent a piece of equipment and piece of tech to him as well. After all, they are brothers.

MM - The gift is a box of ten footballs. Mario did not play football a lot before joining the league. Since he was previously a professional soccer player, so he was pretty used to touching or catching balls with his feet. When he first played football, he found that his first intuition remained the same - catching the football with his feet, not his hands. His teammates beseeched him to change his mindset, since catching the ball with his feet is called incomplete or fumble, as a waste of the offense opportunity. His teammates encouraged him to invest in ten footballs at home to practice - building up the intuition of using hands, not feet or head to control the ball. Mario agreed. But as a very young player, he did not have a lot of money to buy footballs. On the contrary, his home is still full of soccers, which Mario kicked around all the time. His teammates and the coach believes that it is important for Messi to change the mindset, so a box of footballs is sent to plunge Mario into a sea of footballs. This is the best Christmas gift that Mario can get. From now on, he will throw and catch football all the time at home, when he is making breakfast or lunch, eating food or drinking water, pees or poops, and maybe in his sleep - his feet are static while his hands keep foraging for footballs and throwing them away.

It was a cold tuesday morning. Heinrich was still lying in his warm bed thinking about the current season. It was not quite going the way he had thought it would be. Suddenly he heard a someone knocking at his front door. Heinrich was a bit wondering who would be disturbing him at 5:30 in the morning and so he heaved out of the bed and went downstairs to se who the intruder was.
When he opened the door there was nobody to be seen. Only a little box was standing in front of him on the doormat. At first he didn't know what to do. He didn't order anything as he prefers to buy stuff in person and he wasn't expecting anyone to drop something off at his place.
He grabbed the package and went inside and opened it. There was a note and some kind of sealed plastic bag in there. On the note there was only one word written on it: "OPEN". At first he wasn't sure what to do and just wanted to throw all away. But he was courious what the point of this was. So he took the plasic bag and ripped it open. As soon as it was open a disgusting, yet somehow familiar smell filled the whole room and Heinrich immediately knew what this was all about. His father had again managed to prank him from thousands of miles away sending him a fart in a box.
