Reports are in that Videl Valor supposedly was seen robbing a Stanford owned connivence store, and taking items worth $420.69. Videl has denied these reports claiming that she was on the UCLA team bus heading back to the UCLA. There’s also more evidence pointing towards this "report" being a forgery, as with the "footage" shows a girl who doesn’t even look like Videl Valor, holding a deep fake gun towards an acting theater student which clearly points to this being a faked scene. Also, the supposed "store" was actually a bunch of leftover stage props from a previous performance of a musical called "Hamilton", with a bunch of fake Orange County Otter jerseys. The most concerning of this evidence is definitely a few plastic and cardboard food stands that were spotted in a school dumpster afterwards at the scene. More shocking evidence has shown the supposed "blood spots" on the scene is a mixture of fake Halloween blood, and past due Chick-fil-A ketchup. The reporter is known to be very biased towards UCLA and literally runs an online forum for anti-UCLA teams, such as Stanford and USC, to coordinate pranks or even worse, ways to forge fake crime scenes such as this one. What a terrible display by Stanford to try to ruin Videl Valor’s ISFL dreams.

Dirt, on me, seriously? You have to be kidding right. I mean, my reputation in the game is clean cut. I mean... how far back is this dirt from... we talkin bout my time in Rutgers here?

Well in that case, let me try explain. I mean, put my side of the story out there. I'd been struggling with a little niggle in my ankle, and the stage over there couldn't figure out what the issue was. I mean, they were all but calling me out for being weak. Said I just needed to get out in the field, break up the play, do my job. You don't need to tell L’Gazzy Burfict how to do his job. The defensive coach at the time, maybe we didn't see eye to eye all the time. He wanted to mix things up a little, was talking about me having some more time on the sidelines, said I didn't have the mental strength for the game. Child please. He brought in this kid from Detroit, saw him as the next big thing at LB. I mean, he was a decent prospect. But damn, he could run his mouth. Thought he had made it. Thought he could talk to me like that.

So one day, man it was wet, practice field was a swamp. Coach wanted to make a statement, shut me up for good. Oklahlma drill. Put me up against that punk.

When a leg breaks, that sound, you can't unhear that. What happened that day was unfortunate. And back in the day, no tape was recorded after the official practice ended. So don't come at me with some non story, unless you fancy a drill now yourself?

Soon-to-be DSFL draftee Kaguya Shinomiya is inexperienced in the realm of media handling, and as such a situation like this would be tough to deal with compared to other more experienced QBs. In terms of what the “dirt” could probably be, really there is many things that it could be; given that Kaguya is still on the young side however, most of said “dirt” would likely be of the childish, high school drama variety. Things like the tumultuous relationship with the Student Council President at Shuchiin Academy that could be reported as being “tactical and passionate” amongst other things. Or - if they choose to dig even less than that - the fact that Kaguya still used a flip phone up until the later years of High School, meaning Kaguya would have to resort to underhanded and intricate methods of communicating with teammates off the field. As I said, the “dirt” isn’t damning but for a younger athlete it is still tough to deal with nonetheless. The first thing Kaguya would do in reaction to this non-story would be to get in contact with long-time work partner and friend Chika Fujiwara - a person who also has played QB at an elite level recently. That’s not the reason why Kaguya would get in touch however; the main reason would be the connections Chika has at her disposal. Chika is the daughter of a politician and a diplomat, and as such can help… “put pressure” on the journalist so that nothing gets out. After that, a simple statement to get past the issue should be enough to deal with the situation and save Kaguya’s standing in the media.

As an upstanding member of the ISFL community who would've won the equivalent of the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year award multiple times if it existed, Brandon Booker has no dark secrets that the reporter may have uncovered. The reporter has an unreliable source who has completely fabricated an event or story. Perhaps this is a story purportedly from Booker's time playing college football at ASU, or it could be to do with the circumstances surrounding Booker's move from Philadelphia to Orange County as that was one of the biggest stories of the S26 offseason. A spurned individual could've fed this reporter some inaccurate information, or gone as far as to devise an entire conspiracy that would apparently reveal that the entire event was some coordinated conspiracy. Perhaps Booker is claimed to have told one or more teams that he would be signing with them only to back out, or to have misrepresented the situation surrounding his departure from the Liberty organisation. Regardless, this is an event that occurred many moons ago now and I imagine the public interest in this story is limited as Booker has gracefully aged into a less prominent role in the league. Booker would ride out the situation, if the reporter intends to publish something untrue then Booker would deal with the consequences then. As a relatively uncontroversial character, there are bigger stories out there. (232 words)

The publication has found out that I have an estranged loser brother that I have not spoken too in over a decade. He was kicked out of the military for numerous offenses. He was later jailed for dealing drugs, and even called my parents on christmas day looking for bail money. He is a loser's loser. He has no redeeming qualities. I never remember a day of liking him. The press found his lifetime rap sheet online, and has refused to cut me any slack. He is not me. I am not him. No matter how many times I try to explain our relationship, they just throw it back in my face. I have learned that the best thing to do is to just stop talking to the media. Sure, it makes me look like a selfish primadonna, but I refuse to let them get the better of me. This way, I can just go about my business and focus on my training. I do not need these petty mental distractions affecting my game. I am here for the team, and they come first. I am paid well for my services, and management deserves my undivided attention and focus on and off the field. Without them, I may still be looking for a home.

Prompt Wrote:In a recent interview with a well known print publication, the reporter suggested that they had some “dirt” on you, from your past. What could the reporter possibly have on you and how would you handle the situation?

As a person of sterling moral character, impeccable decision making, and a naturally wonderful personality, clearly there is nothing that I have done or will do that would ever cause problems if released in the media.
But that being said, I suppose there is a bit of good-natured trash talking about our opponents that, were it to be released, could be taken as serious rather than the fun ribbing with my teammates that it was. Getting ready for games we do manage to get a bit fired up, be really load when getting going, and maybe scream a few things about ripping heads off or stomping on the guts of our opponents. Nothing I would actually do to them of course! But, taken out of context of the locker room and moved into the context of a court room or newspaper, I could see that perhaps a reporter could think that a transcript might qualify as "dirt". I personally am fine with having said what I said - it's clearly not a real threat to the safety or well-being of anyone I played against beyond the field as allowed by the rules. But I can understand that if someone had a real axe to grind they could think that it would create some amount of trouble for me. I regret nothing (see above impeccable decision making) but I do hope that any past and future opponents are understanding in the matter.
