*Grithead Cockily Spotted Purchasing Luxury Vehicle - Trautner - 08-18-2018 Financially Irresponsible On the eve of draft week, Kansas City running back Danny Grithead was spotted driving directly out of a CarMax this morning. Fresh off of receiving his $5M salary from the Coyotes, it seems that Grithead is preparing for a life of luxury and disposable income, after purchasing a new Ford F-150 and driving it straight off the lot. But, rumors are swirling that Grithead is already broke, having spent all of his salary and earnings off of Twitter: might Grithead be jumping the gun and assuming that he'll be a first round pick, spending all of that money he thinks he'll be receiving as soon as next week? Boy, it would be a real shame if NSFL GMs conspired against Grithead to not pick him until late in the draft and sign him to a lousy contract. Season In Review While we're at it, let's take a look at Grithead's numbers in the DSFL this past season: 14 GP, 231 rush attempts, 1128 yards, 4.9 YPC, 80.6 Y/G, 8 TD 14 GP, 35 receptions, 290 yards, 2 TD Grithead was truly a dual threat out of the backfield for Kansas City. Although the Coyotes ultimately were upset in the conference championship game, you certainly can't blame Grithead who contributed 119 yards from scrimmage in the loss to the Pythons. Let's take a look at some highlights from Grithead's season: Week 1: 16 attempts, 81 yards, 1 rush TD Week 2: 16 attempts, 91 yards, 1 rush TD, 3 catches, 17 yards Week 4: 17 attempts, 99 yards, 1 rush TD, 1 catch, 10 yards Week 7: 16 attempts, 87 yards, 7 catches, 73 yards, 1 receiving TD Week 8: 27 attempts, 100 yards, 1 rush TD, 2 catches, 14 yards Week 9: 19 attempts, 95 yards, 2 rush TD, 5 catches, 34 yards Week 10: 13 attempts, 78 yards, 4 catches, 31 yards, 1 receiving TD Week 11: 21 attempts, 67 yards, 1 rush TD, 4 catches, 51 yards Week 12: 18 attempts, 93 yards, 4 catches, 20 yards Some real contributions out of the backfield for Grithead, with his games in Week 7 and Week 9 earning the most attention. Week 7 really exhibits Grithead's potential to be a weapon both in the running and passing game. With nearly equal production both on the ground and through the air, defenses will have to respect the feared checkdown to Grithead. Draft Stock Falling Again? Grithead might be a real head case for GMs to figure out where to draft him. If you draft him too high, he's not gonna have the motivation and drive of someone who went undrafted or got picked late. After all, it was his Round 5 selection in the DSFL draft that was his primary motivation this past year. You definitely want this gym rat to always have a chip on his shoulder. But, if you pick him too late, Grithead is gonna be pissed. He's a greedy dude who clearly doesn't know how to spend wisely, so if you want to keep him off the streets and sleeping under a roof, you should probably take him at a reasonable slot which brings a solid rookie contract. I'd hate to be a GM scouting this piece of work. *Grithead Cockily Spotted Purchasing Luxury Vehicle - HalfEatenOnionBagel - 08-18-2018 Luxury? Are you kidding me? Can we please stop with this clickbait? *Grithead Cockily Spotted Purchasing Luxury Vehicle - RedCydranth - 08-18-2018 You could buy any car, and you chose a Ford F-150? You really ARE trying to tank your draft stock. And you called a truck a "Luxury Vehicle". Serious question marks bout this guy's intelligence right there. Otters officially have no interest in that sort of poor decision making. At least buy a Maserati or something. *Grithead Cockily Spotted Purchasing Luxury Vehicle - timeconsumer - 08-18-2018 Angus Winchester respects the vehicle choice *Grithead Cockily Spotted Purchasing Luxury Vehicle - tlk742 - 08-18-2018 (08-18-2018, 02:29 PM)timeconsumer Wrote:Angus Winchester respects the vehicle choicebut is it luxury? *Grithead Cockily Spotted Purchasing Luxury Vehicle - DeathOnReddit - 08-18-2018 Luxury?
