@AdamS I liked the info you provided about the league's updating situation, since that was important context that I hadn't been aware of.
However, in considering the motivations, you left out that Bradley Westfield holds a shit ton of receiving records, and now the biggest one, career yards, is tainted.
Also, you talk about whether it was intentional or not, but that doesn't matter. When teams exceed the salary cap, no one cares if it was intentional. It was done, so they got penalized. Breaking the rules in a way that gives you an unfair advantage results in a penalty.

His records and stats are so minimally tainted as to not really matter. 38 tpe in season 8 and 9 are extremely mildly effective at best.
Also..didn't a bunch of people keep saying 3 seasons? Am I misremembering that? Because it was clearly 2 seasons.

So 73 TPE is worth a season ban, but 55 (which I believe was the total) is worth nothing? Intended or not, he broke the rules and gained an unfair advantage. Also, if 55 TPE is so minor, then the appropriate penalty of 27 TPE would be minor as well and there should be no problem with it.

Honest opinion: I tried to listen to it but it sounds like you're underwater and it is really difficult to understand you. I had to give up. I would look into using a different microphone.
