*McCormick debates Retirement - infinitempg - 09-14-2018 YELLOWKNIFE, NORTHWEST TERRITORIES If you had asked Micycle McCormick how he would feel about starting the season 3-3, you would expect words like "the team is playing really well", "exceeds my expectations", and "beyond my wildest dreams". After all, he's never had a winning season in his professional career until last season's magical playoff run. You would get those words, but it wouldn't have the same oomph. The dreaded slump seems to have come for McCormick, who has missed two key extra points in the Yeti's latest road trip to Philadelphia and another tonight in Yellowknife. "It's just extremely discouraging," said the former kicker of the year. "I feel like I should be at the top of my game and yet my leg is somehow failing me all of a sudden." McCormick fears this may be the result of reaggravating his plant knee while walking up the stairs to his bedroom. "I don't know if it's a serious injury or if I'm just off my game, but I can tell you that my left knee has been bothering me recently," he said, continuing, "Perhaps my old injuries are catching up to me." When asked about how long he could continue kicking, McCormick stared into the distance, saying, "I always thought I would play forever. I wanted to be the oldest player in the league at some point. Maybe my body is already there and my mind just hasn't accepted it." Kicking woes aside, McCormick the punter is having an absolutely outstanding year. With a current punting average of 52.7 yards per punt, he is expected to blow by the former record set by Baltimore K/P Turk Turkleton of 50.9 yards per punt. The reigning punter of the year doesn't seem to care, though. "Yeah, punting is important and all, but you don't score on punts. Those are free points man..." he said, before stating he needed to take his shower. Is this the last we see of Micycle McCormick the kicker? Only time will tell. spoiler alert: no *McCormick debates Retirement - run_CMC - 09-14-2018 This is sad ![]() *McCormick debates Retirement - Muford - 09-14-2018 bastard. why you post clickbait *McCormick debates Retirement - kckolbe - 09-14-2018 No, this is not the last time I will see McCormick. Whenever there is piss on a toilet seat, I will see him. Whenever I struggle to enter a woman without stubbing my tip, I will see him. Whenever a glass door is half open, and someone walks into the glass side of the door, like they not only can't see reflections, but also forgot how the fucking door operates...I'll see him then, too. Also, I'll see him on the field next season. *McCormick debates Retirement - timeconsumer - 09-14-2018 ![]() *McCormick debates Retirement - Daybe - 09-15-2018 (09-14-2018, 07:59 PM)timeconsumer Wrote: you better put Nick "Improve my hands" Pierno there *McCormick debates Retirement - Raven - 09-15-2018 Dont ever do this to be again |
