*Chasing History: The Ultimus - AdamS - 10-02-2018

Hi, yeah, I haven't written in a while and the podcast is on a hiatus because I need a better mic and also I am not drinking. So there's that. K? Cool..let's article now.

The upcoming Ultimus featuring the rematch between the Baltimore Hawks and the New Orleans Second Line (Ultimus 2: Somebody's Town is Definitely Gonna Riot). Within this game are a lot of potential changes to the record books for teams and members of those teams. And we're gonna talk about them right now in this article. The title mgiht have given that away if one was paying attention. So let's go get it.

The Second Line could become the 3rd NSFL team to win multiple Ultimus' Championships at all, and also in a row.

A loss would make the Second Line the first NSFC team to lose multiple Ultimus'. Ultimi? Whatever, fuck it.

[div align=\\\"center\\\"] BAL Baltimore Hawks BAL[/div]
Baltimore could become just the 3rd ASFC team to win the Ultimus in the league's 10 year history.

With 72 rushing yards the Hawks would become the leading playoff rushing team in league history.

The Hawks are 11 passes defended away form being the all time leading team.

With 1 interception, Baltimore ties the record.

Borkus Maximus III is 290 yards from passing King Bronko for 3rd all time on the playoff yards passing list.

Darren Smallwood is currently 5th all time in rush yards in the playoffs with 439. He is 108 yards from 1st (though Taylor remains likely ahead of him).

Paul DiMirio holds the record for most catches in the playoffs (and also the same record in the regular season) with 73. He looks to extend that.

Julian O'Sullivan has 78 tackles in the playoffs. 80 is the record (held by Angus Winchester).

Jayce Tuck is currently tied for first all time with Ian Bavitz for the all time lead in sacks. The same goes for tackles for loss (with George Wright Jr.) for the all time lead in tackles for loss in the playoffs with 7. He can retire with the sole lead in both with 1 tackle for loss and 1 sack.

Are you sure you're not drinking? Baltimore is in NSFC and already holds the record for multiple Ultimi losses and NOLA is ASFC.

Yeah, we've lost 3 times in the Ultimus. It makes my heart sad.

Fun fact, Taylor is also tied for 4th for most career tackles for loss in the playoffs.
