*DSFL QB Situations - Daybe - 10-03-2018

Since I’m bored and on the bus I thought I might as well make an article on the DSFL QBs.

S9 - Adriana Falconi
S8 - Andreas Metaxas

The Luchadores aren’t in a pickle. Yet. While Falconi is almost certainly going to get called up this season, they are going to be able to work with Metaxas’ last year of eligibility, and then they won’t have anyone for the future. A potential decision they might make is to take the understudy route, and draft a quarterback to work behind Metaxas until the time comes for Metaxas’ call up. Thus they will have to find their guy for the future, although this may not be too hard given the yearly influx of quarterbacks.

S12 - Luke Boelcher (Waivers)
S11 - Jamal Slick
S10 - Zenyou Wozy

This situation looks better on paper than it actually is. Wozy figures to be a part time quarterback, not ready for a full time starting job with his low endurance, and Slick, their prized #1 pick, is long inactive. Fortunately for them, they have a great cast of wide receivers that will be able to keep elevating their quarterbacks - to a certain extent.

S11 - Johnson Cox III
S10 - Joilet Christ

Joilet is going up next season after the Ultimini, but the Pythons have little to worry. Cox figures to follow in the footsteps of Zenyou Wozy and Andreas Metaxas as a five year quarterback, which means that the Pythons are set until S14. They may experience some growing pains at the start of the season while JCIII makes the climb to 250.

KCC Chicago Kansas City Coyotes KCC

Literally no one lmao

The Coyotes find themselves in the same situation as last season. They have no one at the quarterback going into the draft and will have to start the year with a guy around 100 TPE. It’s gonna be a tough year (at least for the start), but at least they have the guaranteed #1 pick. It’ll be interesting to see how aggressive they’ll be looking for the man of the future with only Lucha needing a true long term solution.

I wonder if Colorado will pick up Metaxas. He should be extremely cheap, and would give them something behind center while Applehort's heir is prepared.
