Signed a contract for one last season with the Second Line, would like to sign a 1 day contract as a Sabercat.
Man, what a ride it has been. I don't know if I will make the Hall of Fame, and that's ok. I honestly put together an amazing string of seasons. I promised @`BayleyIsland` one more season, so I am giving him one more. This is Smallwood's last ride.
Man, where to start, I want to thank a few people.
For starts, Wraiths Nation, the membership, and staff. Thank you so much for believing in a Wide Receiver with no sim history and taking a chance on a guy who fell to the 53rd pick. The average picks for WRs in the season 2 draft was 53 by the way. Seriously, thank you for giving me an environment to push myself.
To my New Orleans family, the teammates and fans. What a ride. Thank you for believing in an aging runningback and giving me amazing seasons yielding two OPOTYs and one MVP. Fun fact, I am the second running back to win that award. Kinda crazy. Nuck did it in season 1. @AdamS thank you for being a great drinking buddy, and @bovo thank you for the great 11th hour push to get me to NOLA. DOOT DOOT.
Finally, and most importantly, Thank you to my San Jose Family. Seriously, from @Muford, to @7hawk77, to @Sweetwater, to @ckroyal92, to @Symmetrik: you guys made up one of the best locker rooms a player who just felt dejected after a trade could possibly ask for. I always root for the team I play for, but no lie any time we weren't playing you guys I was pulling for the green and bronze. I'm glad to see hots and rocket league return and I'm so thankful to be a part of a great team for so many seasons. While we were a pick away from the ultimus and home field advantage, I'm glad to have been a part of breaking the longest playoff drought and securing San Jose's first playoff appearance.
Anyways, yeah. So I'm going to recreate as a WR. I started there, and changed due to a deep depth chart, I don't plan to have that hold me back this go.

You were a ridiculously unselfish teammate, something I hope doesn't end up forgotten given that you finally got to shine. Looking forward to that wide receiver. Let me know which day you'll be a SaberCat so we can talk about you shadow GMing for ARI.

TLK would be a first round draft pick even if he didn't have a player.
His effect on any LR is tangible.
Given his penchant for working hard, his player had plenty of TPE and I'm happy to see him get the fame he deserved, especially given the sense that he was overshadowed a bit early on in his career (starting out as WR3/TE territory).
