*Marquise Brown Postseason Press Conference - YoungTB - 10-04-2018

Coming off a historical rookie season in which he broke the single season rushing yardage record and record for most rushing attempts in a season, Marquise Brown opens up the conference to the press. And as he enters a contract year playing for the Philadelphia Liberty, Brown hopes to answer many questions and dispel any rumors.

Ask away.

I don't really have any concrete expectations for Season 11, but that doesn't mean I'm not excited for the season, in fact, it's the opposite. I want to see Falconi prove her worth after being drafted fifth overall, and I know that she'll put up impressive numbers and prove the naysayers wrong. I personally, also can't wait to take the next step this year. This is a contract year for me and I'm going to show even more why I'm worthy of a big contract. I think we're going to turn many heads this year, and I'm stoked.

I think that I've seen all that I need to see. I think we have a plan and a good path to an Ultimus championship that we're going to follow. Only thing I need to see from them is their wallets. I've already proven myself as an elite RB and I'm still young. I've already talked to the front office about contract negotiation, and you might see a contract come sooner than later. We're both in agreement that I want to stay here for a while, it's all about the money at this point.

Well like I said, I've already talked to the front office about what I want to do, and what I expect from them. I want to stay here long term, but if we can't get a deal done before FA begins in Season 11, I will be entering FA and fielding offers. I know my worth, my agent knows my worth, and I believe I've already proven it this season. I want to be paid like the elite RB I am.

I don't think it changed my expectations, it more so confirmed them to me. I'm going to be the greatest RB to ever play the game, and breaking the rushing yardage record in my rookie year is just part of it.
