Inspired by Baller I made my own football card that is more old school:

Not totally in love with it, but don't hate it either.

It looks good, I too wanted something a little more classic, some of the graphics I see in these signatures seem excessive to me. I might recommend adding a border so it's not just the photo on white.

I have the PSD saved, may play around with adding something to the BG

Adding a gradient BG went a long way, thanks for the suggestion!
