(S11) - PT 3 - Halloween Party - Oles - 10-30-2018
Requirements
Written: Must include 200 words. With Halloween upon us everyone has their own traditions for the scariest night of the year. Write about whatever your player does, whether it's throwing a party, going to a bar, or just handing candy out.
Graphic: Create a graphic for whatever you do, include 1 player render and some sort of activity/setting (if at the bar show that, and so on)

(S11) - PT 3 - Halloween Party - Oles - 10-30-2018
The Oles family has always had some weird traditions when it came time to the holidays, however Halloween has always been pretty mundane. It was always just a do what everyone else does holiday and for someone like Kazimir who doesn't really enjoy the holiday and get behind the spirit of Halloween this was always a holiday to forget. Recently he decided to create his own traditions, one that he might enjoy instead of just phoning it in. He started to hold his own house of horror, employing many different facets of terror to scare the people who want to be scared, utilizing many different scare tactics in order to make it enjoyable for all. While he may not enjoy the holiday itself, Kazimir has always seen happiness in making other people happy, even if it is trying to scare the socks of them using all sorts of tactics. Anything from creaky floorboards to jump scares, from hands grabbing you from below the floor to the classic chainsaw killer, there was a lot to go through when Kazimir first implemented his house of horror. As it has gone through a few years of trial and error it has gained its own identity and isn't just a generic house of horror anymore. (211 words)

While Fyodorovich spent plenty of time in the United States he is still very much Eastern European, where Halloween in the form that you throw a party, go to a bar, or just hand candy out is not very much popular. Instead, people celebrate this autumn time and whether thinking about the close people that passed away and visit their graves and tombs, taking care also of abandoned ones that no close relative was able to attend. It's time of reconciliation and gathering and one of the few times in the year Vladimir is able to go back to his country to meet his family and remind himself where he grew up and who were the people who looked up too. Thankfully due to scheduling he is able to participate in amazing New Orleans festivities first, get to choose a great outfit, walk in the parade, become voodoo doll and other usual stuff that comes as a part of being the second line player. After that, he gets into a flight to his motherland, stays there for a few days and comes back to the game, it's probably the busiest part of the year for him, but it's definitely worth it as nothing reminds better about the Dance Macabre that life is. Kind of explains his poor performance too.

Halloween is a very special time of year for some people. James Bishop is one of those people, he loves halloween. James often will participate in corn mazes and haunted halloween rides. Lately he has been setting up some of his own. He invites friends, family, and teammates to his events. Yes, plural as in multiple. He has several events throughout October finding ways to enjoy the season before the winter season rears its ugly head. Local children will come and enjoy the corn maze that James has set up on a farm just outside Austin. If left unattended children could be lost for days. There are hidden caches of food and water strewn about the maze just in case of someone without supervision getting lost. There are drones hovering above with heat vision cameras making sure that everyone is safe, but you never know. At the end of the maze everyone gets free goodies like pumpkins to carve or pictures to paint. There is cider, donuts, and pizza for everyone. Some people will dress up and some will just wear their street clothes, James doesn’t care. It’s all for fun. James really enjoyed seeing a child come to the maze dressed in a Marshal’s uniform donning his name and number. James knew that he was making a difference and people were always watching and to be the best person he could be, even if just for that one little boy.
(S11) - PT 3 - Halloween Party - BWIII - 10-30-2018
For Brock, he's more of a go with the flow kind of person and really doesn't have any kind of Halloween traditions. When he was a kid it was definitely all about trick or treating as he'll often tell about dressing up, his favorite costumes being Dennis Rodman with spray painted hair or as Dracula. Once the trick or treating was done, he didn't really do anything in particular. He can recall a couple years in high school just hanging out with his girl friend and watching scary movies and in college a couple house parties, but it was all mostly spur of the moment type stuff. The last couple years he's kind of just hung out at his house or with some teammates, going to a bar for a couple drinks and then heading to bed; I know, kind of lame. I think a lot of this though is because Brock is a huge birthday person and his birthday happens to be the day after Halloween so he mostly saves up all his energy and goes all out on his birthday as it's usually a huge day full of a ton of events hitting up multiple locations and seeing everybody from family to as many of his friends as he can fit in.

Kwame loves Halloween. Like literally it’s his favourite ‘holiday’ bar none. He’s in the full stance that November 1st should be a national holiday to allow people to go out and enjoy Halloween night in all it’s glory. What does he do every year? Well we all know how bad candy truly is, so he tries to do his best to keep a true and tested Halloween to hand out ‘candy’ but with his own twist.
With there being so many kids with less than fortunate circumstances, Kwame has started to host his yearly “Spook 4 Kids” event. What does this entail exactly? Well in an effort to generate some much needed skills in life (team work) and give the kids a ‘treat’ he hosts a tournament/ buffet every Halloween.
What this is, is a custom nerf war set up with prizes for best costumes – most creative/ original costumes – winner of each bracket – best team effort. This allows many opportunities to teach the kids to work together and aim high, because in life there aren’t “everyones a winner” and they need to learn this early. Cooking highly nutritional, yet tasty food, gives the kids a true “Treat’ while filling their bellies and having a day of pure fun. (208 Words)

Lucari's tradition for every Halloween is to sit outside and hand out candy for the neighborhood children. While it may seem kind of boring or lame as some people would say, he knows that it's important. When he does this, he shows that he isn't just a start athlete, he is also a normal person who enjoys Halloween. He feels that when he hands out that candy to the children, he is doing a small thing to give back to his community. These small acts add up and help shape the kind of person that he is and it shows that he actually cares. On the field he may be locked into the game of football, but outside of the field he is just a normal person. Lucari really cares about his community and this just happens to be one of the smaller things that he does when he isn't playing football. He even dresses up each year to keep up with the theme of Halloween but never nothing scary. He wants the kids in his neighborhood to see that there is more to being a famous person and that even he is normal. He has even signed his fair share of autographs before but he doesn't mind that because he knows that he is only helping fans of his.

This Halloween will be a little different from past Halloweens. This time last year was when news broke that Dusty Atters may or may have been a multi account of the most famous teen is Saskatoon, Carson Schmyr aka Logan Noble. That was a fun time in the league from what I vaguely remember. Thinking back, that kid was an idiot. While it likely wasn’t a true multi account, the length he went to hide his involvement and relationship is laugh out loud funny. We can only dream that this year’s Halloween is just as eventful.
Unfortunately, Halloween this year is on a Wednesday which is one of the shittiest this holiday can land on. Typically, I would be handing out candy or going to parties and getting drunk and realizing there is a slutty version of basically anything imaginable. Nope, not this year because there is a game to be played. On Halloween night, Baltimore plays host divisional rival Philadelphia Liberty led by Marquise “Pontiac” Brown. While I would love to see myself lined up against former team mate 37thchamber, Lennox Garnett, instead I will likely be a terror for Andre Bly. While the game won’t likely be exciting, it’s a necessary evil that the Liberty must face.
