*Lightsout Lewis - LB - PreDraft Presser - flyeaglesfly29 - 03-07-2019 Ready to be Graded Lightsout Lewis approaches the podium and is now ready to take any questions: 1. What are your expectations for the season? - "I could sit here and give you the same answer that everyone probably is, but that's just not me. My expectations for this season are to be the best linebacker drafted. I've worked my tail off to get to this point and it is time that I get to showcase the talents that I have. While I'm certainly looking forward to contributing to whatever team drafts me, I am not and will not be ok with supporting my team from the sidelines!" 2. Are there any DSFL teams that you're specifically interested in being draft to? Any that have reached out? - "I'm interested in being drafted to any team that is willing to believe in my skill and let me contribute to their success. I don't want to pigeon hole myself to just one specific team, but I have been doing some research and I do have my eye on a few teams. San Antonio seems to have a pretty great GM, I like the fact that Norfolk would be close to home, however the only team that has reached out so far has been Portland. If I became a Python then I would be more than happy to be a part of a great organization with such history!" 3. How do you see your game transitioning to the DSFL? What do you bring? - "I feel like my game will translate well. With football transitioning to more of a passing game, I think that my coverage skills bring a lot to the table. I also pride myself on being able to move around if necessary. In college, I played inside and outside linebacker, but I also came off the edge as a rusher and even played some snaps at SS. I feel like more than anything, I bring versatility." 4. Anyone you are looking forward to playing against, from the other prospects? - "The first person that comes to mind is my old college teammate Cameron Olsen! We've spent so much time together over the past 3 years and getting the chance to line up against him in the DSFL would be awesome. I'm also interested in competing against Buddha Lebowski, who seems to be my biggest competition at the LB position. I know that he's a great prospect, but I also kinda enjoy being the underdog because it gives me that chip on my shoulder to propel me to new heights!" 5. Anyone you'd like to play with from the other prospects? - "While it would be awesome to play against Cameron Olsen, I'd also be just fine with him being my teammate again as well. Another guy out there that I find to be interesting is Terry Taffy, he's a funny guy but certainly seems like someone that will excel at the next level." 6. Is there a player you're modelling yourself after? (NSFL, DSFL, NFL, etc). - "When I think of players that I model myself after I would have to go with either Shaq Lawson or Telvin Smith. I love the way that both of them play and are just all over the field. They can make that tackle on the sweep, but also cover slot receivers. Again it comes down to versatility to me and those guys are great examples of it in my opinion." *Lightsout Lewis - LB - PreDraft Presser - Roly - 03-07-2019 1.
