[/div]

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]QB: Ryan Leaf Jr (@ValorX77) 16/26 145 Yards 0 TDs 76.6 QBR

Ryan Leaf Jr.'s first game in the Prospect Bowl showed sparks of good but seemed to be held back because of an offensive line that didn't do him any favors allowing 4 sacks on the rookie QB. Compared to the rest of the bowl games so far, Leaf put up admirable numbers and did not throw an interception unlike many of his rookie QB peers. Seems like the first game jitters didn't get the best of him, but the defensive line did. He made connections with WR's DaShawn Jackson (@yoyo13) and S Plunkett, and TE's Cameron Olsen (@Rradum) and Jammerson Irving (@contacts). This shows his ability to spread the ball around with his limited time in the pocket. With the O Line not giving Leaf time to throw the ball, downfield passes were absent from the offense. We'll see how things pan out in week 2 for the passing attack. Leaf has also touted himself to be a mobile QB but only gained 1 rushing yard in the game on 1 attempt. With Leaf not being able to stay in the pocket, it may be in his best interest to try and scramble and gain yards on the run instead of throwing rushed or off target passes.[/div]

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]RB: Ludicolo Bigby (@TheWoZy) 20 Att. 87 Yards 1 TD
Ben Bortboy 2 Att. 6 Yards

Ludicolo Bigby was the shining light on the Owls offense against the Foxes with his 3 yard rush into the end zone being the only touchdown for the Owls in the game. He showed a lot of promise gaining 4.4 yards per carry with a long of 11 yards. He was also targeted once by Ryan Leaf Jr but it fell incomplete. He may be leaned on more in the next game since the passing game is having a slow start. Bigbys #2 Ben Bortboy only had 2 carries for 6 yards so we may see more action out of him against the Cobras as well to see if he can add to the offense.[/div]

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]WR: DaShawn Jackson (@yoyo13) 7 Rec 58 Yards
S Plunkett(BOT) 1 Rec 14 Yards

Dashawn Jackson showed off as best as he could and was the team leader in receiving yards and targets versus the Foxes. I can see a lot of potential in Jackson with the volume he is getting. Once the passing attack is able to be consistent, Jackson will feast with his speed and ability to make tough catches. He was a clear number one for the team in front of S Plunkett(BOT) who barely made a splash with 1 reception in the game.[/div]
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]
TE: Cameron Olsen (@Rradum) 3 Rec 37 Yards
Jammerson Irving (@contacts) 4 Rec 36 Yards

Disclaimer: I am Cameron Olsen. Just wanted to get that out there.
The Tight Ends for the Owls were used pretty evenly throughout the game. Olsen ended the game with 3 receptions for 37 yards posting a YPC of 12.3 and Irving ended with 4 receptions for 36 yards with a YPC of 9. This is a solid showing between the two as their short routes allowed Leaf to get the ball out quickly. They need to watch out for dropped passes and be more of a red zone threat with their big bodies to overpower the secondary. Olsen and Irving also did well protecting their QB with Olsen netting 2 pancakes and 0 sacks allowed and Irving not allowing any sacks as well. In the coming games it'll be exciting to see if they continue to be used evenly in the passing game.[/div]

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Defensive Line:
DT Bruce Waynner (@BruceWaynner) 4 Tackles
DE Memphis Wilkerson (@ShackDad) 2 Tackles

The defensive line combined for 10 tackles in the game. Bruce Waynner finished with the most tackles at 4 with Memphis Wilkerson behind him at 2. They have some work to do after the Foxes ran for 142 yards and 2 TDs total but some of that fault lies on the Linebacker group as well. They have plenty of time to better themselves for the next games and work on improving what may have hurt them in this game. I look forward to seeing the work they do in the trenches.[/div]

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]LB: Tony Gabagool (@shipwreckrising) 8 Tackles 1 Sack
Mo Berry (@Frick_Nasty) 6 Tackles 1 Sack 1 Pass Defensed

The LBs played a great first game combining for 14 total tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 pass defended. The run game seemed to take them by surprise as Terry Taffy (King Collins) ran for 34 yards and a TD on the first drive. They were able to consistently pressure the Foxes QB netting 2 sacks for the Owls. This pressure by the defensive line and linebackers helped hold the Foxes to only 202 yards passing with 1 TD and 1 interception. Gabagool is currently tied for 2nd in the league for total tackles and Berry is tied for 3rd in pass defenses. This early in their careers they are showing that they can make big plays with more training and experience in the league.[/div]

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]CB: Andrew Solomon (@ZoomerMcGee) 6 Tackles
Neon Demon (@kissthe6rings) 3 Tackles

Cornerbacks Andrew Solomon and Neon Demon combined for a total of 9 tackles against the Foxes in Game 1. There were two receivers with 50+ yards and M. Big Chest (ferral squirell) scored the lone receiving touchdown. They played fairly well for a duo who hadn't played together and held down the passing game in the first half. They seemed to run out of steam in the 3rd quarter where they allowed 72 passing yards followed by a touchdown early in the 4th. I see them being able to build chemistry with each other and lock down their opponents in games to come.[/div]

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Safeties:
FS: Proy Tolamalu (@Adrian1878) 5 Tackles 1 Int 1 PD
Logan Uchiha (@CalvinP) 4 Tackles
SS: Richard D'Attoria V (@124715) 7 Tackles
Jack Rambo (@oz3700) 5 Tackles

The other piece of the secondary that fought hard against the passing attack were the Safeties. With 21 total tackles, 1 interception and 1 pass defense, the safeties were all over the place. The two most notable are Proy Tolamalu and Richard D'Attoria V. Tolamalu snatched the only interception of the game for the Owls and stacked 5 tackles on top of that. D'Attoria V finished with 7 total tackles which is tied for the lead in all secondary positions. Uchiha and Rambo weren't quiet either coming for 9 tackles total for a solid start to their careers.
[/div]

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Kicker: Alex Dasistwirklichseinnachname (@BigKicks) 1 XP 2 FG 41 yard long

Dasistwirklichseinnachname showed up to cover for the Owls in this game scoring over half of their points. He went 1 for 1 on Extra Points and went 2 for 2 on Field Goals nailing one from 41 yards out. Teams, if you're looking for a kicker, this may be the guy to keep your eye on.[/div]
