*Rahm Kota Post Draft Statement - Furrand - 03-19-2019 *ready to be graded [392 words]* Round 11, Pick 62 Palm Beach Solar Bears Select: Rahn Kota: OL University of Houston To be fair, even though I thought I would go higher, I can't complain and I can't think I'd rather go to a different team. I want to be better, I have to be better. I was picked in Round 11. 2 Offensive Linemen went in front of me. I wasn't the strongest, but I know how to block; isn't that what matters. No. Strength is all that matters. 12 pancakes, 1 sack in the prospect bowls, evidently that isn't enough. That's fine. It's all just motivation. I want to thank the Palm Beach Sun Bears for this wonderful and amazing opportunity. I will continue to work and get better every single day. Within the short time I've been here I already feel like part of a family. To be honest, they're one of the only teams that scouted me. Again. All fine. I can't wait to prove all the others could wrong. They saw the potential, they saw what I'm capable of. They saw what I can be. They scouted me with a genuine interest, and have welcomed me to their great team with open arms. Thank you to all of my supporters throughout the years. Mom, Dad i love you both and your words will be with me forever. My two brothers thanks for telling me I can't do it, can't wait to continue to prove y'all wrong. All my coaches throughout the years of college, your lessons won't be forgotten. Finally my agent, Furrand. Thanks for taking a chance on a guy like me. We're both new at this whole thing and we'll go through it all together. Two little fish in one giant freaking pond. We'll do this together and figure it out together. Finally: I want to publicly make a promise to my teammates, coaches, GMs, and the league. For everyone that doubts me and my abilities: I can't wait to prove you wrong. For every team that passed me by in the drafting and scouting process: Trust me, I'll make you regret it. For all the other OL in the league, and those taken ahead of me: I'm coming for you.
