*Longshaw's Draft Rankings - dropbear - 03-29-2019 Jay Longshaw is only 4 game into his DSFL career with the Norfolk Seawolves, but he's already forming an opinion about where he'd like to end up when the NSFL draft rolls around. These rankings take some important factors into consideration: namely, the current QB's TPE and age, where 0 = will regress the coming offseason, -1 = first regressed last offseason, etc., and any other potential replacement QBs on the roster. 8. Current QB: Ryan Applehort 1183 TPE Age: -1 Future QB: Cooter Bigsby This is a no-brainer. There's no room for Jay in Yellowknife. 7. Current QB: Childish Gambino 1037 TPE Age: 0 Future QB: Corvo Havran Again, a high-TPE established QB and a future star waiting in the wings. A no-go for Longshaw. 6. Current QB: Joilet L. Christ 884 TPE Age: 2 Future QB: Rose Jenkins J. Christ is a strong starter and still has a long career ahead of him, should he choose to fight regression, and with Jenkins honing her craft in the DSFL and already signed to a contract with San Jose, Longshaw can safely scratch the SaberCats off his list. 5. Current QB: Adriana Falconi 924 TPE Age: 2 Future QB: ? There is potential here for Longhshaw to take over from Falconi at some point, as the former has expressed his desire to exhaust his DSFL eligibility before being called up, and the latter still has plenty in the tank. Additionally, the Liberty don't appear to have a protege for Falconi as yet. Despite this potential match, Longshaw isn't sure Philadelphia is the place for him... though he's always open to being convinced otherwise. 4. Current QB: Andrew Reese 778 TPE Age: 3 Future QB: ? The Outlaws are actually a destination that are quite near the top of Longshaw's list, however, Reese is simply too young, and a GM to boot. Given that Reese has already made the miraculous switch to QB from the defensive line, there's just no way that the roster could be maneuvered to allow room for Longshaw. 3. Current QB: Gus T.T. Showbiz 976 TPE Age: 1 Future QB: ? The first potential short-term opening at QB, with the current starter only a season out from regression. However, despite the sheer luck they had with the semi-inactive hall-of-fame QB Mike Boss, Longshaw doubts the Otters will trust the success of their team to a player outside of the GM pairing. 1A & 1B. Current QBs: Micycle McCormick / Borkus Maximus III 943 TPE / 901 TPE Age: -2 / -2 Future QB: ? The situation of these teams is almost identical in terms of the quarterback position. Longshaw is a likely target for both teams, with there being only two more season that they can expect competent QB play from their current starters, and only three seasons total remaining before they're left without QBs at all. This list is subject to change and direct contact from GMs will typically always positively influence the standings. Any roster moves have the potential to do the same. Stay tuned :eyes:
