Lets get started.
-This will not be your ordinary interview, questions will be thrown at you to keep you on your toes. Some may not be obviously related to football, are you ok with that?
Lol sounds good-You're a GM, let's talk about all the positions on the field. What's more important to you, your QB or literally any other position on the field?
You can't succeed without a great QB. It's definitely the most individual important position in the league, but it's not the be all end all. You need to be able to surround your quarterback with talent on offense, have a balanced rushing attack, and then be able to get stops and force turnovers on defense.If you opened a bakery shop what would name it?
My baker would probably be Slms Snacks. Just sounds the best lol
What are your thoughts on feedback? How often do you change you playbook/scheme? Are you willing to stay firm in your style of play or will you morph your team based on your opponents?
I think the key to being successful is being adaptable. You have to be willing to change your play style and you have to be willing to be flexible. Some weeks you need to focus on the run, some weeks you need to go pass heavy, it really depends on the opponentRANDOM QUESTION TIME:
Sushi or Caribbean food and why? If you haven't had both you've broken my heart.
I love Sushi, it's incredible. Don't get me wrong, but Caribbean food all the way. The spice and flavor of a well seasoned Jerk Chicken, or an incredible beef patty is nearly unbeatableLet's get back on track
Let's say a player is getting little play time. What is more beneficial to getting more time, being a positive personality in the locker room or hard work in the gym?
If you are great in the locker room and an awesome guy, but don't put in work in the gym than you're not going to see the field. There's certainly value to being an asset in the LR, but you have to be a valuable guy on the field. You have to put in work and improve. If you don't then you won't be playable. It's that simpleThe DSFL has bred a lot of elite talent. As a GM, and former player who's your favorite player you've had on your franchise or you've played along side?
As far as the DSFL level the two best players I GMed in my short stint as a DSFL GM were definitely Darren Morris and Gregory Fletcher. They were awesome guys in the locker room, and super hard workers. The podcast series they had together (NFY) was awesome, and wound up turning into a whole franchise. In the NSFL level guys I've GMed have included several hall of famers. From Owen Taylor, Turk Turkleton, Antoine Delacour and Trey Willie to younger guys like Austin Roenick, Verso L'Alto and Childish Gambino, I've had the privilege of playing with and GMing several incredible talents.Fantastic answer,
Are there any changes (as far as rules, etc) you'd like present to the GMs? Any ideas you've had bouncing around your head?
I'm not really sure off the top of my head. There's one rule I'm considering that I think would help. Basically right now if you join the league after the trade deadline you get waiver pick up and then added back into the draft. I think it would be better for those players if they were just picked up and stayed there permanently.Tell me about your hobbies. Not DSFL related. What intrigues you? What gets brain stimulated? What's something you don't know much about you'd like to invest time in, etc.
I love watching different TV shows, but especially the office. I can rewatch it over and over again. It's a great show with fantastic characters.I know you're very busy but I enjoy giving real in depth interviews. Let's talk about your first two games; both Ws. How you feeling? Any surprises or standouts on the team you didn't expect or exceed expectations?
I wouldn't say surprises, but being able to have such a strong ground attack with Dorfus Jimbo and Apollo Reed was incredible. Those two both had dominant performances and are 2 and 3 on the DSFL rushing leaderboard. They're big reasons we were able to win. As far as how am I feeling? I'm very excited, being an expansion team we were underdogs for sure, but being able to start off with two wins against our conference rivals is a great feeling.

What are some words you'd like to give your newcomers to end this interview and is there a message you'd like to send to the rest of the league?
To the Seawolves, I just wanna say to keep grinding. You guys are doing great, we are going to keep dominating this league. As far as the rest of the league, I gotta say, Fear The Fleet.
