*ResimGate DSFL - TeyonSchavari - 04-10-2019 (Ready for grading, 590 words) The game is set. We won! Two pick sixes, 3 fumble recoveries for our defense. We look great! Leighton Lee is looking like a legitimat DPotY candidate! Wait a second, whats this in the index? No no no, this can't be right. No turnovers? The stats look all wrong! This is not the sim I watched, what happened? This represents the thoughts of all of the Portland Pythons after the Week 10 games were played. Unfortunately, the thoughts were similar for many of the other teams as well, as the original stats for all players were wiped and replaced with new ones in this bizarro new timeline. Sources say that after the 9-1 San Antonio Marshals scored a game-winning touchdown against the 1-9 Kansas City Coyotes at the hands of a 96 ovr player that somehow snuck on the field for this one play, the league decided to resim the games for the entire week. Apparently, the technology doesn't yet exist to sim individual games, so all had to be simmed again, and then again until the results of the other games were the same. Now, this is an unfortunate drawback of the system, but if you think about the situation, its fair. If these were two teams of a similar caliber, it would make a lot of sense to resim in this event. However, would the result really change when the top team in the league is playing the worst team in the league? How in the hell were the Kansas City Coyotes that close to begin with? Well, San Antonio proved that the close game was, in fact, a fluke, pummeling the Coyotes 49-3. This affected the other games greatly as well, and players are sharpening their pitchforks and lighting their torches. Lee is unhappy that his only pick, a TD at that, and multiple pass deflections were all wiped away. Gekyume Stokeley & Tijuana's Martavius Mack are equally upset for losing similar stats. Forrest Gump of the Luchadores is disappointed that he lost a TD and yardage. Hopefully the league's head office has reinforced steel plating to protect themselves from the incoming angry mob. It is a controversial decision, in some circles people will think its fair while others are seething, but it seems people will get over it all eventually. However, a small cluster of conspiracy theorists think that this was a planned event. The outline of this theory is that San Antonio is bent on being the best team in the league, not just by record but also statistically. After seeing the performances put up by the other teams, they phoned it in against the Coyotes, waiting til the last second to put in their star player that they paid off to be on the team for this game. He scored as planned, but this lulled the Coyotes into thinking that they actually had a chance in the game, causing them to call for a resim. The Marshals GM acted surprised and reluctant, but agreed to it and let the league handle it. They brought everything in full force on the resim, and racked up their stats while shooting an evil grin at the other teams while they were forced to play again and sacrifice their once noteworthy stat lines. If this is true, it is pretty compelling. Are the San Antonio "New England Patriots" Marshals the "Bad Boys" of the league now? Even if it turns out to be a flat out lie, it isn't a good look. I bet every one of those sneaky Marshal players is cackling with laughter over how the league is rigged and how the team planned for this to happen all along. I propose a loss of all San Antonio S15 draft picks, suspending Cooter for four games for being “generally aware” of how resims work, and firing every Marshals player over 100 TPE.
