Can you give a power rankings of the DSFL RBs, not including yourself?
“That’s a real tough thing to do. They’re all talented in their own way and I’ve gotten to know a few of them a bit, they’re very nice guys. I’m just gonna look at numbers from this season for this ‘cause I don’t want to hurt nobody’s feelings, you know? Number 1 has to be Morgan Marshall. We had a little competition over the course of the season goin’ back and forth with who’s leadin’ in the touchdown race. I won’t lie to you, havin’ him score that 19th to tie me against us in overtime stung, but he’s a real good competitor and he should be proud of this season. Number 2 is gonna be Dorfus Jimbo. We played together on the Grizzlies and I’m a big fan of his. He’s one of 4 of us that got double digit touchdowns this season, but more importantly he had 5.7 yards per carry. That was the highest in the league of any running back with more than 100 carries so that’s the most impressive thing to me. Then I’d go with Dorfus’ runnin’ mate, Apollo Reed. He was great in his own right and got in the end zone even more than Dorfus. Next I’d have to go Ludicolo Bigby. Really high yards per carry as well, didn’t catch the ball all that much but he’s a running back after all. Ben Bortboy comes in after that, similar stats and a strong power back. I’ll go Max Vaz next, good returner which I always like as well as just bein’ a reliable player. Terry Taffy’ll take the next spot. I remember playin’ against him in the Prospect Bowl and that was a fun little rivalry we had there. He hasn’t quite transitioned over yet in the running game but he’s one of the best returners in the league, and he’s a talented back, even if he struggled to get in the end zone this season. N/A is my next pick, impressive YPC but he doesn’t have mind blowing stats. Tyler Janes has the best YPC in the league and the second most pancake blocks by a running back, and those are impressive but without the volume of other players he can’t get much higher than this in the rankings. Kermit Stronglegs next, then Hank and Quick. Trey Moffat has a lot of receiving yards and the most pancakes blocks in the league by a running back, so he’ll be second last. That leaves Ronald St. James III. And that’s all I’ve got to say about that.

How do you feel about the Tijuana Luchadores organization?

“I may not be a smart man, but I know what love is. And I love the Tijuana Luchadores. All my teammates are great, we’s like peas and carrots. I’m so glad I got drafted to them, and I’m thrilled with the regular season. Tijuana is a great city, and the fanbase is incredible.”

How do you feel about yourself tying the DSFL rushing touchdown record?
“Well, I’d like to answer that but I didn’t get to tie that record, I tied the record for scrimmage touchdowns in a season, needed one more rushing touchdown to tie the record. I really thought I could’ve gotten it, but it wasn’t to be. I’m still very proud of the season and I’m thrilled to have tied any records at all. The old Tijuana record for rushing touchdowns was 15 so I got that, which is a nice thing to have. Obviously, I was gunnin’ that last game against the Marshalls but sometimes no matter what you do you just can’t get that last touchdown. I’m excited to try again next year, either in the DSFL again or the NSFL, but either way I’ll be doin’ my best to run as far and as fast as I can.”

Is there was a NSFL team were to draft you, who would it be and why and which over team would you not want to be drafted by?

“Like I said, I’m not a smart man, but I’m strugglin’ to understand what you’re askin’ here. I’ll be happy no matter who drafts me, and I’m gonna play my heart out for them. I haven’t had all that many GMs reach out to talk to me yet but any team who’s considering picking is welcome to shoot me a message. I don’t really know which team will want me yet, although I will say I’ve looked at some teams’ situations and I’m startin’ to form an idea for which teams I’d fit best on. Obviously with expansion franchises I don’t know what the teams’ visions are but I know I can be a key part of a team building from the ground up if that’s where I end up goin’.”
