*A stream of consciousness by Mo Berry - Frick_Nasty - 04-24-2019

I just can't believe it is over. I remember like it was yesterday I was picked in the sixth round to the Marshals. This season has been one I'll never forget because of great we played. More importantly the friendships I have made with my teammates. I guess former teammates. I'll start with my guy on the other side of the ball. Cooter Bigsby, behind the scenes he taught me so much. As more of a veteran he taught me how to carry myself as a player. I'm not the same person I was in college. He taught me what it takes to be a professional. I get up at the right hours to get the most out of my mind and body. I'm not out partying and trying to take a sorority sister home. I have an image, a brand to uphold. He also taught me about the game. A different perspective to better craft my game especially with how differently the level is from college to pro. For that I thank you Cooter. Sticking with the offense I want to thank Morgan Marshall. This dude is a warrior. You do not get better as a linebacker without going against one of the best running backs. Morgan is the complete package he can run through you, around you and burn you as a receiver out of the backfield. More importantly he's just a great guy. He isn't vain. He does not bring drama onto himself he comes in does his job and gets it done. To wrap up offense players to thank I go to Timmy Hoss. Just like Morgan he might not say much but damn will he make you better. It's like going against and left tackle who can get off the line and make a seam route go for six if you get complacent. He has definitely made me improve my coverage game. Enough about the gross offense. Let's get to my homies. I'm so bummed that this will most likely be my last official year with Quenton Bode. My college teammate, my best friend. We have pushed each other to get better so much we ended up both in top three for linebackers. My stats might not match his but we both know we are 1a and 1b for ranking each other. I'd like to let NSFL general managers know that Bode and I are officially a package deal and are one pick. Anyways I'll miss you and I'm sure I'll play with you again in a pro bowl soon. Next person I'll miss is a guy who taught me a few tricks in reading passing offenses. Walt Green. This guy was making interceptions so much I had to ask him how do you get thrown to like a wide out. He laughed and said you just gotta follow their auras. I looked at him like he was crazy but he took the time to sit me down in the film room and it just clicked. Next week I had my first interception in the DSFL. Walt will be terrorizing QBs and Wide outs very soon. Last but certainly not least I'll miss is Brother Nero. This dude is a generational talent. I'm not talking about football wise. This dude I swear makes me laugh with the memes he makes everyday. It is never repeats it's always clever and original. But if we talk about football this dude IS a generational talent. He's gonna be around a long time and don't be surprised if he doesn't win defensive rookie of the year next year. This isn't biased because we share similar favorite sports teams. So here we are. Like boyz Ii men it's the end of the road. I am ready to put the DSFL book on the shelf and begin writing the greatest linebacker story in the NSFL. The draft cannot come soon enough.
Your next first round pick,
