*First Interview with Laszlo Forty-Two - C9Van - 04-27-2019
(First media based thing, please be kind ;_
A small stage with an interviewer is in front of a small group of press who are gathered for another interview with one of the draft prospects at WR this season. Laszlo Forty-Two! He comes out and sits down, an awkward moment happens as the interviewer goes to shake his hand but he is basically ignored by him.
Interviewer: Well, err let's get this interview under way shall we! Tell me about yourself.
Laszlo Forty-Two: Forty-Two goes by Laszlo or Mr. Forty-Two. He goes by this due to it being his name. Forty-two weighs in at 225 pounds of Hungarian muscle whilst standing tall at 6 foot 4. Most importantly of all, he is here to play in this league.
Interviewer: Why are you talking about yourself in third person?
Laszlo Forty-Two: Mr. Forty-Two is confused as to why you would make fun of way he talks. Wonders if Hungarian accent offends you. Expects fight if provoked about this.
Interviewer: Whoa! Easy! I didn't mean it like that I just wanted to kno—Nevermind, let's move on. The question I think everyone has about you is your last name, why is it a number exactly?
Laszlo Forty-Two: Simple. He was born and raised for nine years in Budapest, Hungary. His family immigrate to West Virginia. Very different lifestyle than the one he leaves behind. Another nine years in West Virginia pass. 42 very good at catching ball, hurting opponents mentally and physically. He comes to make living doing it at professional level.
Interviewer: But what about your last name, I don't get how that links.
Laszlo Forty-Two: He was getting to it. I told you it was simple. Family join cult. Means he joins cult as well. They like me and Laszlo is chosen as one of the children of his god. Parents remain followers but don't get number. Forty-Two becomes Forty-second member. He changes name before joining league. No-one relate to Hungarian surname, so he decides to use number. Will help sell t-shirts and magnets.
Interviewer: I see, I see. So you're cultist?
Laszlo Forty-Two: Do not fear. They not Westboro Baptist Church or evil cult that you see in Nightmare Cabin Creepers Have Eyes the 13th Part two that sacrifice goats or virgins. Just have different deity to others. Is his destiny to play in the league. He will do it.
Interviewer: Can you not talk in anything other than 3rd person?
Laszlo Forty-Two: Laszlo Forty-Two can. Laszlo Forty-Two won't stop though.
Interviewer: So are you looking forward to the draft?
Laszlo Forty-Two: He is. Very intrigued to see who is going to pick him up. Expects others to go above but Laszlo should go high because I have edge over other rookies. No-one will beat him in commitment. Will take every opportunity and learning experience and will get better.
Interviewer: What do you think to everyone else that will be in the draft with you?
Laszlo Forty-Two: This does not matter. The Laz wishes best of luck to everyone involved, some very strong people will be in it. However, he does not care about them. I will be against most of them when dust settles. So the Laz will see them all as rivals for the future NSFL draft.
Interviewer: Any team you're interested in picking you up?
Laszlo Forty-Two: Forty-Second of family does not concern for where. Give me Quarter-Back who can throw and he will catch and score team points. Simple mathematics. Have one requirement. Forty-Two plays in #42. Don't waste time with other numbers. Give him request or don't bother.
Interviewer: So what can you bring to the team?
Laszlo Forty-Two: Is simple again. Teams want commitment. Teams want coachability and adaptability. Teams want someone who will listen. Laszlo will be rookie, lack experience at highest level. No issue at all. As he will learn from team mates and grow like strong oak tree. Commitment is assured and together beat teams mercilessly.
Interviewer: Time for a more light hearted question: A few ladies seem to be interested in getting to know you by the sounds of our twitter feed. So in light of that, describe the perfect date!
Laszlo Forty-Two: Laszlo does not care for gold-diggers. However, he will answer silly question for ice breaker purposes. The best date is June 18th. It is strong, hot and is half way from New years and Christmas. It lasts 24 hours and never fails to show up on time just before June 19th. I have described the perfect date for you.
Interviewer: I don't really know what to say to that...So I'll just move on. What are your ultimate goals then for this league?
Laszlo Forty-Two: Does not mean to cause offense when he say this but goal is to make it to the big leagues. Dream is to crush pathetic teams by catching ball more times than them. Want to prove he is a great wide receiver. Not delusional enough to believe Hall of Fame level without even playing minute. But would be goal for him.
Interviewer: Would you want to accomplish anything specific in your first season?
Laszlo Forty-Two: That he is team player! That is ready whenever! That can deliver when time is needed. Also, would not hurt to get first ever touchdown or small accomplishments either.
Interviewer: What would you say is your best skill?
Laszlo Forty-Two: Mentality. Everything previously stated is Laszlo's strength. He can also catch the ball very well.
Interviewer: You seem to be very serious and driven.
Laszlo Forty-Two: Was not question. But is true. Laszlo Forty-Two is here to succeed. If you're not here for same reason, don't be drafted and waste time.
Interviewer: We have one final question and it is from Twitter. This is from the user KronikMathsDebater69: “If you could pick any super power, what would you end up picking?”
Laszlo Forty-Two: This question confuses Laszlo, how would he magically be able to pick to break law of physics. How would he benefit from such a situation.
Interviewer: So you've never thought about having super powers?
Laszlo Forty-Two: Flight. Mr Forty-Two would pick flight. He could then catch poorly thrown balls from terrile quarter-backs with ease.
Interviewer: Well, this is all we have time for at this moment. Laszlo would you like to say a few closing words?
Laszlo Forty-Two: Of course. League is very lucky to have someone like Laszlo. He will join DSFL and grow. Get even better than already is. Then he will move onto big league, repeat history. He cannot wait to debut and show everyone what he is actually capable of doing.
Interviewer: Thank you for joining us, we will most likely hear from Mr. 42 again soon.
