First off, I would just like to thank @`To12143` and @Muford and the entire Chicago Butchers organization for having the faith in me to make me the first overall pick for this expansion franchise! I could not be more humbled, yet excited to be a part of an organization that I truly feel will be a force in the NSFL for many years to come. I understand that being the first overall pick for a new team forever links me to this organization and also makes me a face of this team and to be completely honest, that excites the hell out of me! I am ready to be a leader for this locker room and to be a guiding light when necessary to help each and everyone of us fulfill the vast potential we have. But enough about me!

I wanted to take a quick second and let each of you know about the awesome guys who became my teammates last night. Some of these guys I have played with before and others I have not, but regardless we are a family now.

Round 2 - Pick 6 - Xerxes Ridley - @plantane - Cornerback

A former teammate of mine from both the prospect bowl series and the Portland Pythons before I was traded to KCC to become Co-Gm, Xerxes was an absolute steal in the second round. From speaking with our GM, no one thought we would be able to snag a player of his caliber in the second round but we are certainly happy about being able to. Xerxes has been incredibly active since joining the league and is a very good presence in the locker room. I am also helped out a ton by this pick because I have 100% trust in his ability to lockdown any receiver in the NSFL and that makes my job a lot easier!

Round 3 - Pick 6 - Guy Nikko - @Duress - Linebacker

Let me introduce my partner in crime Mr. Guy Nikko, the man with the big fork and the guy holding down the middle with me for years to come in Chicago. I was really excited when Nikko became a Butcher and I had the chance to be paired with someone with as much talent as this guy. Coming off a season where Nikko had 10 sacks and 3 Interceptions, I have nothing but faith that he will be making life hell for opposing quarterbacks for years to come!

Round 4 - Pick 6 - Jack Rambo - @oz3700 - Safety

Here in the 4th round, the Butchers selected another piece to this growing mammoth of a defense with their pick of Jack Rambo. Rambo may not be swinging around any machine guns in the forrest, but "You're not hunting him.... he's hunting you". 71 tackles and 4 sacks this season from the safety position and another year down in the DSFL to continue stacking up the TPE, this man could be a Pro Bowler in the NSFL. I love his build and I'm excited to get to know him more as time goes on.

Round 5 - Pick 6 - Timmy Hoss - @smaxx77 - Tight End

Our first offensive player comes off the board from the San Antonio Marshalls and it is Timmy Hoss. An underrated prospect at the TE position, Hoss is a vertical threat that will benefit from another year down in the DSFL where he can really hone his skills before taking this over at the NSFL level. At 6'6 I think that if Timmy Hoss knows how to use his body the right way then he could be very big redzone threat for the Butchers in the NSFL. I'm excited to see more from him this season in the DSFL.

Those are the top 5 picks for the Chicago Butchers and our most active players currently. I really hope that everyone selected will be active moving forward and I can not wait to take the field with each of these guys in the future! Let's go Butchers!!
