*NSFC S15 Draft Recap/Grades - Duilio05 - 05-05-2019 [div align=\\\"center\\\"]NSFC[/div] When I first posted my Draft Recap I had the NSFC and ASFC in one media post. Turns out it broke jcink. So I have split the two conferences one in each media post. Please Check out the first one Here *Hopefully my fellow Baltimore teammates won't notice Philadelphia is now included...* [div align=\\\"center\\\"]Baltimore Hawks ![]() Top Needs: Unknown - No consensus from the experts. Draftees: 11 Total, 5 of Top 50 S Fatih Terim @[Eco] Central Grizzlies ![]() S Walt Green @[Duilio05] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() RB Dorfus Jimbo @[ScorpXCracker] Central Grizzlies ![]() LB Marquees Acho @[Huskies311] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() RB Ludicolo Bigby @[TheWoZy] Pacific Owls ![]() OL Jacob Rowan @[Vedin] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() WR Luca Ramero @[Ramero] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() QB TJ Hendriz @[TJH] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() DE Memphis Wilkerson @[ShackDad] Pacific Owls ![]() LB Jameis Harrison @[NextJamesHarrison] Midwest Wolfpack ![]() CB Christopher Loren @[hazi_snazzy] Southwest Foxes ![]() Apparently Baltimore’s biggest Need was Safety as they took the first and second best safeties in the class. Rotating Fatih and Green in and out next to Oats should create an instant No Fly Zone. The Baltimore GM’s may also be sending a subtle hint at their current -5% TPE earning starting Running Back, as they drafted two Running Backs in the first five rounds. [div align=\\\"center\\\"]**some favoritism may have been displayed when describing S15 safety rankings.**[/div] Baltimore Draft Grade: A+ for getting the two best safeties in the draft. [div align=\\\"center\\\"]**more favoritism may have been displayed regarding specific S15 safeties.**[/div] [div align=\\\"center\\\"]Chicago Butchers[/div] Top Needs: All except Wide Receiver Draftees: 13 Total, 5 of Top 50 LB Lightsout Lewis @[flyeaglesfly29] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() CB Xerxes Ridley @[plantane] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() LB Guy Nikko @[Duress] Central Grizzlies ![]() S Jack Rambo @[oz3700] Pacific Owls ![]() TE Timmy Hoss @[smaxx77] Central Grizzlies ![]() RB Ben Bortboy @[spinarnie] Pacific Owls ![]() DE Trevon Simmons @[Tyreke] - ![]() S Avery Thomas @[Tesoroano7] Midwest Wolfpack ![]() WR Andre Thornton @[Drizzy] Southwest Foxes ![]() K Paul DiMirio @[Nykonax] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() CB Neon Demon @[kissthe6rings] Pacific Owls ![]() DT Poster Nutbag @[Thee_Autumn_Wind] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() LB Buddha Lebowski @[BuddhaLebowski] Southwest Foxes ![]() The Butchers got a lot of depth in this draft. They managed to get a 150+ TPE player in the 6th round. In that same draft round, only two other players were above 100 TPE (pre Ryan Leaf resurgence). That is some good scouting and draft attention. Chicago has built a good foundation for their defense. While Lightsout Lewis and Guy Nikko may have been overlooked by teams for other Linebackers, this combo should work very well together, while Ridley and Rambo circle around them. Draft Grade: A- While maybe unfair, both expansions teams will constantly be pitted against each other for the next few seasons. Playing into that story line Chicago finished the draft with 4 more players than Austin. [div align=\\\"center\\\"]Colorado Yeti ![]() Top Needs: Defensive Line, Secondary, Quarterback, Running Back, Linebacker Draftees: 8 Total, 5 of Top 50 LB Mo Berry @[Frick_Nasty] Pacific Owls ![]() LB Tony Gabagool @[shipwreckrising] Pacific Owls ![]() RB Terry Taffy @[KingCollins] Southwest Foxes ![]() S Quentin Sinclair @[MaxGnarland] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() QB Jay Longshaw @[dropbear] Midwest Wolfpack ![]() DE Frasier Crane @[TheFlash] Central Grizzlies ![]() WR Mr. Big Chest @[feral_squirrel] Southwest Foxes ![]() QB Apollo Lange @[RohnJobert] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() Despite coming into this draft behind the 8 ball after a few ill timed trades in previous seasons(hindsight hurts), this team was still able fill in all of their holes. Maybe not as thoroughly or as deeply as they’d like, but this should be a great start for rebuilding this team. This team may have successfully drafted the most steals in the draft. They got one of the Fab V despite trading out of the first round, and paired Berry with a great teammate in Gabagool. Whether any of these players immediately start will be determined if the GM’s feel they should continue to tank or not to take advantage of the expansion draft. Additionally, they got two of the six available quarterbacks. Draft Grade: B They managed to turn a bad draft situation into a positive outcome. [div align=\\\"center\\\"]Philadelphia Liberty ![]() Top Needs: Linebacker, Secondary, Wide Reciever Draftees: 16 Total, 5 of Top 50 S Richard D’Attoria V @[124715] Pacific Owls ![]() CB Emondov Emoji @[BWIII] East Cobras ![]() WR Nacho Varga @[Fordhammer] Midwest Wolfpack ![]() LB Rock Hardshaft @[Rouchicus] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() RB Farley Hank @[Beebob] Midwest Wolfpack ![]() S Momodou Jallow @[usarice] Southwest Foxes ![]() LB Justin Tyme @[BuddhaLebowski] Southwest Foxes ![]() S Tigole Bitties @[Tydy22] - ![]() CB Trey Aguilar @[jms199456] - ![]() WR Lenard Marx @[Official_DT] - ![]() OT Gregor Clegaine @[VossSauce14] East Cobras ![]() WR Carlomagno Rey @[Crey23] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() CB David La Kre @[Krelotelli] Midwest Wolfpack ![]() LB Michael Beckham @[MB06] - ![]() RB Trey Moffat @[Inbob27] Atlantic Blackbirds ![]() QB John Tebow @[TebowFam15] Midwest Wolfpack ![]() Just like Arizona Liberty came in and got a large portion of this deep draft class. While they didn’t get as many in the Top 50 like Arizona, they still are tied with them for the most Draftees taken. They filled in all three of their Needs. While Richard D’Attoria may have been taken too early compared to a couple other safeties, he should be a great compliment with Emoji in the team’s locker room. **More favoritism may have influenced certain comments about a safety** Philadelphia Draft Grade: B+ added some good locker room vets and a lot of depth. <div align="center]Yellowknife Wraiths ![]() Top Needs: Tight End, Defensive Tackle, Running Back Draftees: 12 Total, 4 of Top 50 DE Nero Alexander @[shadyshoelace] Midwest Wolfpack ![]() RB Morgan Marshall @[EnfysNest] East Cobras ![]() S Logan Uchiha @[CalvinP] Pacific Owls ![]() S Giannis Kroustis @[AirCrou] Southwest Foxes ![]() DT Ryan Leaf Jr. @[ValorX77] Pacific Owls ![]() S Franklin Cooper @[killerking] Midwest Wolfpack ![]() WR Cedric Parker @[rohanm] East Cobras ![]() DT Bill Inohi @[Sunshine] Midwest Wolfpack ![]() LB Eric Lorentz @[PapaPlatzack] - ![]() DT Mick Moekr @[nEEEEkolas] Southwest Foxes ![]() CB Andrew Solomon @[ZoomerMcGee] Pacific Owls ![]() LB Thad Castle @[Brookroyal] East Cobras ![]() And absolute beast of a draft class. They somehow managed to get two of SA’s Fab V, and a 140+ TPE active player in round 6. These GM’s really did their research and scouting being able to sneak a few underperformers and instantly turning them into top tier talent. The only position they didn’t cover is Tight End. Expect to see Morgan Marshall fill some of that role during his first year behind Dick Wizardry. Of course thats nothing new to this guy as SA lined him up all over the field. Yellowknife Draft Grade: B+ what more to say? this team should be competitive their first season with Cooter at the helm. |
