*Quick Draft Day Thoughts - Renrut - 05-06-2019

The time has finally come for Kicker/Punter prospect ForThe Brand and where he may land, but if you ask the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater alum, he has no idea on where he will be selected.

“My agent told me that most teams will reach out to me to gauge not only my interest level in their team, but also how Interested they would be in me. He said it’s common practice for General Managers and Co-General Managers to reach out. That has not been the case with me. It is disappointing really.” Brand said “Here I am getting ready for the biggest step of my life in which I chose the NSFL over the NFL, and it seems the interest for me is non existent. One team has contacted me. One. So from my viewpoint it seems like I am not wanted, or teams just do not care what kicker and or punter they draft because we might be expendable. If we flake out, there will be another one and they do not necessarily need to spend a high draft pick on us like they would any other position. Maybe the times have changed and teams do not operate like my agent has been used to. Who knows. I do not know where I am landing tonight, and that is a scary thought. Sometimes coming into these things you have a good idea where you will land, or maybe even in what round, but I am so far in the dark on this, I could not tell you a single thing. In the end, I will simply be happy to have been drafted, but I would be lying if the words “undrafted” and “undesired” were not floating around in my head right now. Time will tell I guess. The draft process is a journey and this is all a part of that process.” He concluded.

So where will ForThe Brand land? If you ask him, he simply has no idea.
