Picked number six by Orange County. Six seasons in Orange County. Six playoff appearances. Danny Grithead reached the pinnacle of the NSFL twice, with two Ultimus titles. His arrival in Orange County created The Fanta Curtain, the most formidable defense in the NSFL for seasons.

Orange County will always be my home. I've always been a scrappy player. I was drafted in the 5th round in the DSFL Draft. When I got drafted in the NSFL in the first round, the draft commentators literally said "Who?!". I believe I've now made a name for myself. I will miss Orange County. However, the Otters will always be in good hands. I've accomplished all I've set out to do here. And now I wait for a new challenge.

what are the rules around FAs during expansion again? do you cost a protection slot?

To my best understanding, FAs can be selected in the expansion draft pool. However, this just gives the team who took them the chance to talk with them before everybody else. My most logical guess would be free agency would open after the expansion draft to give teams a chance to talk with the FAs they presumably drafted

@timeconsumer I don't know if you got your answer, but looks like Daybe had it wrong so just in case......Free Agents are not part of the expansion draft, but they can be talked to by all teams...basically it goes like this:
Resigning Period/Free Agent Talks -- Expansion Draft --- Free Agency
