The Idaho State-product was drafted 24th Overall and has yet to appear in a regular season game[/div]
The San Jose SaberCats have acquired 21-year old quarterback Ethan Hunt from the Orange County Otters in exchange for defensive tackle Bert Metas. Hunt stands at 6'0" and weighs 215 pounds. He was selected 24th Overall in the 1st NSFL Draft. He has yet to appear in a regular season game despite a somewhat strong pre-season.
While Hunt has not appeared in any regular season games in the NSFL, scouts have had only praise for his ability to both run the ball and to figure out plays and being able to lob the ball for long distances even though he plays a very mobile play style.
"I'm pretty happy to be joining the SaberCats for the remainder of the season." Hunt said in a press conference this morning, visibly tired. "It's a great opportunity to have the ability to showcase my skill set and hopefully help the SaberCats both in the present and in the future."
The SaberCats will face off against the Colorado Yeti, and Hunt will make his NSFL debut alongside his debut in a SaberCats uniform.
