Philadelphia,
You have welcomed me into your city and your team and I can't be anymore grateful. I grew up a fan of the Liberty and never thought I'd get a chance to wear the bell. When I was a young struggling tight end in college I thought my career was over. I had my chance to prove myself in Palm Beach and decided that I wasn't ready to take the next step on offense. So I've worked hard to move to Defensive End.
This has been a long grueling offseason and every day at the practice facility I listened to ESPN breakdown my stock. My future. My career. There were good stories and bad so I want to get one thing straight before I step onto the field in the blue and red.
I may be a southern boy but I'm apart of Philly through and through. I want cheesesteaks every meal. Cheezewiz and all. I want you to boo me when I suck because I know you'll cheer for me when I don't. I want to be a jersey you want to buy and someone your kids can idolize.
I want to win,
And I want to do it for Philly.
