*Icy Douglas Provides Long Held GMing Secrets - iseedoug - 10-06-2019 Hey everyone, Icy Douglas here. As promised earlier, I am releasing what has been referred to as the "Secret Sauce," a Python script I wrote when @nunccoepi and I first started GMing 10 seasons ago. It is called QuickKetchup, and makes testing for games much much faster and much more efficient. I kept this code private so that nunccoepi and I could have some advantage in GMing, but now that we are done, its time to give it to everyone. I was going to just give this to Baltimore and San Jose for this season, then give to everyone next season, but I only want to do this once. So, here it is. (Sorry guys ![]() ![]() I have linked a PDF Guide and my Github to this post (PDF is also on Github). The PDF is 2182 words with lots of screenshots, although I'd like to get paid more for the code, if I only get paid for a 2000 word media post whatever, I am happy to contribute to the community. If you have any questions, let me know. I hope the PDF is detailed enough. If I ever get time to, Ill make another version to test for individual player performances, which I found useful when trying to convince FAs to sign with Baltimore. I will let everyone know when I do. If you have any other requests, I will consider them. I hope this makes every GMs life much easier! You definitely deserve a bonus for this! *Icy Douglas Provides Long Held GMing Secrets - infinitempg - 10-06-2019 doesn't use jupyter notebook, 0/10 Seriously though, props on you for sharing the secret sauce! Maybe one day I'll share my python script :eyes: *Icy Douglas Provides Long Held GMing Secrets - iseedoug - 10-07-2019 (10-06-2019, 11:16 PM)infinitempg Wrote:doesn't use jupyter notebook, 0/10 Fair enough ha. I'm honestly just not a jupyter notebook guy. I have tried to get into it multiple times, but can't break old habits. |
