DPOY doesn't make pro bowl - Trautner - 10-17-2019
it's come to my attention Grithead didn't make the pro bowl for s17 after winning defensive player of the year. and he didn't win any positional award either. what the hecc awards people, how does that make sense

Awards voting is a broken system of copying one of the first 3 people to post, change my mind
That said, it’s broken that GMs who are already super busy should have to do it, change my mind

If only an awards committee had be proposed, I am sure GMs and HO would vote for it to lighten their load and make the awards system fairer.......

It was proposed. I at least voted against it because a committee won't necessarily prevent bias or vote copying which GMs are currently being accused of. It would just decrease our work load. If you have a way to prevent bias/vote copying I'll vote for it. Until then I don't think there's any reason to change the system.

I think that we could quite easily come up with a non biased way that makes it fairer and easier for GMs. I will admit that the wording that was put in was too vague (I didn't put it in but am very interested in it).
Don't worry, the next time this comes around I will try and get a detailed suggestion in, but thank you it is good to hear some feedback on this of why it was voted against.
