I suggest the idea of introducing team-based point tasks. This could either be a weekly thing, maybe as a substitute to the normal PT, or could be randomly assigned as a bonus task that you can complete.

In my mind, the goals for a team point task are to a) learn more about your team and develop relationships with other users and b) earn some very wholesome TPE. No one wants to be on a team with a broken locker room or no communication between players. This suggestion would give players incentive to become more active and friendly

Ideas for Team PT:
- interview another player from your team about their season, their player, or their life (don't tamper)
- with a teammate, talk about another player from your team. This could be about past media, their career, or their expectations for the season
- team podcast option? talk about anything for a certain time (30 mins?) only with your teammates
- have a GM or users submit proof of an activity the team did together, like a game night (Cards Against Humanity, RPS, online chess, etc.), a movie night where players watched a movie together through an online service, or other sort of team activity

Potential Issues:
- some teams, specifically in DSFL, may not have enough actives to complete these activities more than once or twice
- one person might want to do the activity later than everyone else, causing one person to not complete. This could be remedied by one player doing the activity for no TPE but this could be difficult to track
- proof of team activities could be difficult to prove?
- would potentially require more graders? not sure
- how often would this PT come out and would it replace other tasks or be an added bonus?

Thanks to Isa for giving me ideas about how to improve my original suggestion. I believe that team PT could be an awesome way to build good culture and relationships with other players while earning TPE

I really like this idea. An idea to improve transparency would be to make the team point task it's own thread on a designated subforum. That way you can see everyone's contribution via posts. And it wouldn't be too time constrained.

I love it, DSFL would make it difficult though

That's be a really good idea to keep track of it all. And I agree with not having it be too time constrained. The last thing I'd want is for teammates to get mad because someone hasn't done their part and the deadline is coming

Good concept. Will need tweaking and testing to get it working, I imagine but the idea is solid.

The forum suggestion is a good way to get around the timing issue, and introduces transparency so everyone knows it's all above board.

Then, if you're concerned about activity levels in DSFL being a disadvantage for some players, you can easily have a "league" thread for everyone who doesn't have enough active teammates or just feels like interacting with people on other teams, or something.

Set a quota for number of participants for the team to be eligible, and maybe make it so you have to post in the activity thread (or whatever) within x days of the event finishing to be eligible to claim (to entice semi-actives and maybe even inactives to get involved)... As long as it's made clear that people can only claim from one of these activities for each "event period" or whatever, to avoid people potentially doubling up.
