How did you manage to keep this squad together after two painful early playoff exits? “ It wasn't me, it was the resiliency of this team. I didn't need to say a word and everyone was still on board for another run at this. I am so proud of these guys.” 2. During the offseason, you guys went extremely hard in free agency and the draft, how does that correlate to the 9-1 start? “ First, we worked really hard to keep our star free agents. It was pretty crucial to our success to keep those guys like Leaf and Grithead. Unfortunately we lost Storm because we didn't think we had cap space. But then we were able to make a huge trade that enabled us to sign not only Lewis, but also bring in star CB Hornbacher! All of these weapons have been huge to making our defense super scary!!” 3. You got anyone to thank for helping build this juggernaut? “ Well, I don't want to get ahead of ourselves. We still have a long way to go. But there are so many people that have helped. First and foremost, I would like to thank Daybe who helped build this team! I would be nowhere without him. Second, Shady who has filled in and made me the GM I am. Next, Valor who really helps our sim testing. Finally, the players, who put in the work and are the backbone to this team.” That’s all folks!
