We find ourselves in a press conference at the University of Tennessee. At the podium, nervously chewing his lip, stands Bubba Thumper. He taps the microphone, and a hush falls over the gathered members of the media, as they turn their attention to the stage.

"My time in Colorado has been a blessing. I feel that I have a family among the Yeti; these players challenge me to be my best every day, and without them, I would never have been able to rise to meet that challenge. I would be nothing without the opportunity that this team presented me two seasons ago, and a piece of my heart will forever belong to this team and to the people of Colorado."

"That said, I see my old DSFL team, the Marshals, about to play for a title, and it reminds me why I entered this league to begin with. I came here to hang banners, and if San Antonio can do it, why not me? I do not know that the Yeti are holding me back; I believe there is a great deal of talent on this roster, and it may be wrong of me to jump ship so soon. But, I feel it is in my best interest to explore my options, to be sure I can experience the future I imagine."

"I will be opting out of the final year of my contract with Colorado, and testing the waters of free agency. Thank you for your time."
