*Horne a Free Agent One Last Time - iseedoug - 11-16-2019 Reports from Baltimore indicate that Ben Horne will be testing Free Agency this offseason. The S19 season is expected to be Horne's last season, as he enters his 12th year in the NSFL. According to Baltimore officials close to Horne, he simply wants to contribute to a team for his last season, even if that means moving back to Defensive End as he played in his last 2 seasons in San Jose. After the S18 season, Horne reached the Top 10 in Career Tackles and is coming off of a 49 sack campaign over his 5 seasons in Baltimore. In his first 6 seasons with San Jose, Horne only had 18 sacks, making this sack campaign even more surprising (although he played a mix of DE and LB during those first 6 seasons). While it looks doubtful that Horne will find his 2nd Championship Ring before its done, his long, up-and-down career may be one for the history books. (Out of Character: I have a little over 200 TPE left, I'd like to play DE for a team that needs a stop gap at the position. I'm only looking for a min salary contact. I say DE instead of LB because I think I will be more useful there at 200 TPE. But if someone actually needs me to play LB, I can do that too.
