S19 DSFL Rule Summit Results - manicmav36 - 12-02-2019
With 10 members eligible to vote, 7 votes are needed for a rule to pass.
1) Restrict DSFL rosters to 40 players (tentatively 16 offense, 2 special teams, 22 defense, but numbers are flexible).
Makes season setup easier for simmers and makes roster forums a lot less cluttered.
2) Let gms get trophies when they win the ultimini
3) Make the rookie discord a dsfl discord
4) Future DSFL Contraction Drafts will take place no later than 5 days before the DSFL Pre-Draft.
5) In the event of a tie for an award, HO will review both players. If one is IA then the award shall go to the active player. If both players are active then a co-award will still be given out.

Rule 2: 4/10
Rule 3: 7/10
Rule 4: 9/10
Rule 5: 8/10
did not submit a vote and, as stated in the rule book, both @scorycory and @Frostbite will be fined $2,500,000 from the personal accounts.Rules 3, 4, and 5 pass. Rules 4 and 5 will be added to the rule book and go into effect next season. Rule 3 will be completed before the end of the current season.

I'd like clarification on 3) Make the rookie discord a DSFL discord.
Does this mean only players in the DSFL will be allowed in? Does this make it so send-downs can stay in that discord longer? Will those that are being called up as rookies no longer be allowed to stay in that discord?

The rule is displayed above exactly how it was proposed, so these are all thing that will need to be discussed.

I don't get the logic behind not letting DSFL GMs get a trophy. DSFL GMs certainly put lots of time into winning Ultimiwnis and dont get anything to show for it

Apparently in this world only players get trophies. Coaches, GMs and Owners just get firm handshakes and a "good job".
