*NSFL Title Belt - Otters Lose! - ddrector - 12-17-2019 NSFL Title Belt update after Season 19 weeks 8 and 9 last night. The Otters streak has been ended by the party crew in New Orleans! An excellent home game for the Second Line gave the Otters not only their first loss of the season, but also sent the NSFL Title Belt to a new team for the first time in 9 weeks. The Otters were lead by an excellent performance from quarterback Stan Francisco that saw him achieve an almost perfect passer rating. The Second Line defense also stepped it up big with 2 interceptions and 2 safeties. In week 9 the Second Line was riding high coming off their huge home win against the Otters as they traveled to Colorado to take on a very good Yeti team. The game was extremely close throughout with neither team ever getting more than a touchdown lead. With just over a minute left Marcella Toriki scored her second rushing touchdown of the game to take the lead and make it a 6 point game. The Yeti proceeded to drive down the field, but ran out of time as they reached the 9 yard line. The Second Line were barely able to hold on as they were able to successfully keep the title belt. Next up for the Second Line is a home game against the Austin Copperheads.
