Gregor Clegane pulls the Elway Card

The Dorne Daily has intercepted a set of encrypted messages from an unnamed House’s Maesters to Sir Gregor Clegane, known as the Mountain, inquiring on whether the aforementioned Mountain would be interested in joining their House’s faction in the war of five kings. According to the Mountain’s response, he is virulently opposed to such a move, as backstabbing is the province of lesser men. He seems to be attached to the Lannister House to the point of devotion. This maneuver has been executed in the past, and dusty tomes in the Maester’s Citadel refer to it as the LeVar Ball, the Jack Elway, or known as the Archie Manning special. Gregor’s case, when studied in detail, is similar to the above examples lost in antiquity, although his father (who tragically died in a fire at the Clegane Citadel when Gregor was an adolescent) is not available as a spokesperson. The complete details of these cases above does not totally translate to the circumstances currently facing Sir Gregor Clegane. In each historical case, the father of the to-be-drafted player expressed dire reservations about the quality of the selecting franchises. The Mountain has expressed nothing but admiration to his opposing factions in the struggling battlefields of the War of Five Kings, but firm dedication that he is, was, and will be in the future, a staunch supporter of the Lannisters.
Sir Gregor mentioned with distain the name of one Lord Waldur Frey, who famously betrayed the Starks of Winterfel to the House of Lannisters during the finale of season three. This stance by Sir Gregor is theorized by nerds to come from the degree in which the surviving Lannisters depend on Sir Gregor, with Queen Mother Cersi being personally escorted around King’s Landing personally by Sir Gregor, throughout her ordeal at the Great Sept of Baelor and the subsequent religious turmoil which has gripped the populace of King’s Landing. - Once a Noble is drafted to a House they must be signed to a contract. If they refuse to sign a contract they will not be able to play in the War of five kings. Their only option is to sit out until they have a contract signed.
- If a Noble sits out an entire season and does not sign with the team that drafted them they may re-enter the following draft. These Nobles may only engage in activity checks and weekly training until they are under contract.

1) I am currently not looking for another house. I don't play mercenary in other house wars, I don't know everyone who engages in these types of things. I was recruited by a friend on the Starks to play on the Cavalry line because I’m an experienced Cavalry Officerat Lannister Academy, and I would really like to stay loyal to my fellow Cavalry friends. Recently we have been assigned to different continents on the War of Five Kings, and these types of things are how we keep in contact. I would just enjoy, for a few seasons, to keep playing with a fellow officer I grew up with. If I have to decline an offer sheet off the draft and write a few articles to do make up the salary, it’s a price I am perfectly willing to pay.
It's not that I think the [House Redacted] are bad, the House Starks are good, or I am trying to win a championship. I think there are several good cavalrymen in this draft, and if teams are looking to beef up their cavalry line, there are several good options! I am not even sure why I am being touted as a top pick in the draft, I've given up several charges now above what other Season two eligible cavalrymen have.

The Mountain has friends (outside the league) with other players on the Otters
Sir Gregor Clegane is holding out of the draft for the Otters until the second round
If drafted by another team, Gregor would refuse to sign the offer sheet, and would be forced to sit the season
If the Mountain is available in the second round, he will happily sign with another team.
Present NSFL Rules:

Okay wait I'm confused now, so if another team other than the Otters drafts you in the first round, you will not sign with them but if you're drafted in the second round by a team other than the Otters you'll sign with them?
If so, I'd like to say your draft stock with me has fallen. The draft is supposed to be a fair way to divy out players and while you didn't technically break any rules but saying you'll do this it still goes against the integrity of the league and is kind of selfish in my opinion.

Well, he's saying he'd sign with anybody in the second round, but there's no way the Otters don't take him in the first so that's a bit of a moot point there. Lol.

Hopefully stuff like this doesn't become common. Otters should have to take him in the first, unless another team wants to hold him hostage and extract extra value.

Okay I speak Game of Thrones fluently so I'll translate:
If The Otters don't take him with their #1 pick he's going to feel burned by them and smash their skulls into dust then play for whomever. If another team takes him in the first before the Otters he won't play for them because of he feels loyal to his house.
And yeah, he's kind of crazy, but the character he is based off of, Gregor Clegane, would make Aaron Hernandez look like a Walter Payton Man of the Year Award candidate....soooo it's not very surprising. Dude just likes his roleplaying...
