[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Let me start by saying thank you to everyone who applied for a team. There were some excellent applicants and we feel like we could have made the right choice with a variety of choices for GMs. It was very difficult to narrow it down to just two people, but in the end we came to a decision we agreed upon in the Head Office and are very excited to share with the league.

[/div]The expansion draft order between these two teams, and which of them will get first pick in the S2 draft will be announced within the next week. The teams will alternate order with each round in the S2 draft. The expansion draft will be a snake draft.
The expansion draft details have been hammered out an decided upon thanks to some great input from the GMs. The expansion draft will take place next Friday, the 14th.

Each team will lose 4 players to the expansion draft. This will give each expansion team 12 players from the expansion draft.
Each team can protect 12 players.
If a player has a no movement clause a GM must protect that player with one of the available protection spots unless the player waives their NMC.
A GM MUST protect their own player and their Co-GMs player with one of their available protection spots.
If players contract expires at the end of S1 they are still eligible to be placed in the expansion draft. The expansion team that chooses them will be allowed to negotiate a contract before free agency.
GMs selected will count as players lost from their teams. So if a team loses a player to expansion because they are chosen as GM that team will only lose 3 more players in the expansion draft.
If an expansion GM names his Co-GM from another team a trade must be implemented at the earliest time available. It is the responsibility of both GMs to make a FAIR VALUE trade for the player. Holding a player hostage or refusing to pay what the player is worth will be grounds for the league to step in and mandate a trade of less then equal value for the GM preventing the trade.Going to an 8 team league means a slightly different league schedule. The regular season will be 15 weeks now. We will still have a 4 week pre season and the playoffs will still be the top 2 teams from each conference.
Lastly, we have a schedule for the remainder of the season and the off-season.
