Cameron Olsen Retires - Rradum - 01-16-2020
So I know this is probably out of the blue, but Cameron Olsen is going to be retiring at the end of this season. Along with that, I will be stepping down as the Co GM of San Jose at the end of this season. This legitimately has nothing to do with the San Jose organization or it’s management in any way. Just wanted to get that out of the way now even though the timing could probably be a little better. @ckroyal92 has been a fantastic mentor and a really great GM to work along side. He’s taught me a lot about this league and how to GM and one day I may possibly be back beside him in San Jose. I’m sad I wasn’t able to help you guys win a championship but this could very well be the season we do it. The team that San Jose is becoming will be one of the best and the group of people on that team have been great to be around since the very beginning of Olsens NSFL career to now.
I’ve thought a lot about what I want out of this league and my excitement for this league has kind of dwindled. I’m not enjoying it as much as I used to and I want to see if a new direction will help me regain the excitement and hype for the league that I once had. I want to experience Free Agency and the draft without knowing where I’ll end up by being auto drafted. I want to bring some mystery back to the league and actually enjoy it as just a player. I will for sure be recreating for this upcoming trade deadline and there will be an announcement about that soon.
Thank you CKRoyal and AndrewWarren for drafting me (even though Andrew liked Wright more lmao). Thank you to Ckroyal again for giving me the position and best of luck to all of you.
