*Time to take Action - KillaScrilla - 01-24-2020 Ok so I’ll be nicer than the other posts I made, the ones that was deleted 2 seconds after being posted. This may ruffle more feathers but then again I don’t care anymore because well, some people don’t care if the integrity of the league is tarnished or there is no transparency when certain people or a group of people are involved in the scandal or whatever you wanna call it. For whatever reason I was even banned from the forum last night without explanation or anything. While I do apologize for some things said in discord at the end before I left general, which was the best move ever. With all the toxicity in the league right now it’s best I did that. But why I’m writing this is to say this. The league has been corrupted I believe. When a commissioner blatantly has it out for a certain team to be wiped off and looking for a reason to get someone fired or banned then all trust and integrity is gone out of the window for me. Not only the hatred towards one particular team and certain players being singled out but also being involved in tampering without reporting it to HO, which I thought was the rule, severely puts the league as a whole in a bad spot, as a corrupt commissioner is usually not a good thing unless your one of their little underlings. Some will say it was private and blah blah blah. Yes it was and I’m sure same is said in a lot of conversations or locker rooms but being a commissioner you should be held a little higher than most. Unfair? Yeah because we are all human but you represent the league as a whole in general. I read the apology and while I’m sure some of it was truly meant it was also a save face apology. I can accept that though as she did own up to it but at the same time everyone is putting blame off on DD and calling him scum and so forth. I’d say he did the right thing, maybe just out of the wrong intentions. But showing someone’s true colors that is supposed to represent the league is not being in the wrong. This whole situation has ruined the league for some, including myself, and had others leave completely. The honorable and right thing to do would be to step down and hopefully get someone with more... I don’t know how to say it nicely so let’s say someone who will be fair and uphold the rules equally. Not involved in breaking them and covering up. While I’m sure Bex might be a great person and friend in real life, the characteristics that was shown is not of a true commissioner. They lead by example and fairness. While she could always prove herself to be those things again as some have before. The time to step down is now and work on that. This is not attack at all on her personally or anything like that as I said she’s probably a great person. That’s just my take which I’m sure will be attacked here in a few seconds. Feel free to bc I can go that route as well but this is the nicest way I can say it and not be banned or taken down immediately. (Hopefully anyway but we shall see) And it’s ready for grading bc I need money *Time to take Action - Baron1898 - 01-25-2020 I hope you find comfort in the fact that Bex is indeed being punished for the tampering accusations, after a fair and thorough investigation - this league may be toxic at times, but it’s not corrupt to the bone. I think everyone can agree that the entire situation is pretty regrettable, and it’s certainly cast many people in a new light for me personally. I don’t know anything about what you said on Discord or on here or about you being banned from the forums, so no comment on that front. *Time to take Action - KillaScrilla - 01-25-2020 In all honesty I don’t because it’s a shame all this happened and the league was put into this situation. I enjoy this league a lot so that part saddens me but it is good to see players and HO taking corrective actions to show no one is above the league. It sucks it was tarnished but it also shows that trust can be restored and as long as there is transparency, especially something this big involving a commissioner, than it will be better for everyone that plays knowing everyone is equal. That’s all I ever asked for is transparency and some integrity restored to the position of commissioner and HO. They have proved that good people will stand up for the players and teams targeted by someone in such a position. In my opinion she could stay as a player but shouldn’t be allowed back into a position of power again. Major trust issues.
