Arizona Seeking New GM - SwagSloth - 01-31-2020
As HO and our team have been aware, there has been internal discussion about transferring the team to a new GM. It's been a great run for Moose and I, but our hope has been to transfer the team to a new set of hands and provide a fresh perspective to the leadership role. This has been my 7th season as GM and I'm a big believer that the players own the teams, not the other way around. Unfortunately, my IRL schedule has accelerated the need for a replacement and we are looking to find a replacement over the next 1-2 weeks.
If you are interested, please PM me on discord at SwagSloth#8728 and answer the following questiuons:
What is your forum username?
Do you have any experience as a GM or war room member in this league or other leagues?
Have you ever run or helped manage a discord server? What do you feel makes a discord server "good" or keeps people participating there?
How familiar are you with football? Do you feel you know enough to be able to set up a Depth Chart?
Have you had any experience with DDPSF16 (our sim program)? Are you comfortable sim testing?
How comfortable are you making and maintaining a draft board? Are you comfortable scouting and talking to prospective NSFL players over the course of the season in preparation for the upcoming draft?
(Our war room has a template to help you get started, but you will have to be the one taking the lead on scouting, especially next season.)
What do you feel makes an NSFL team successful? And what would you do as GM to ensure that Arizona becomes a success under your watch?
Without knowing inside info on the team, what do you feel Arizona needs to do going forward? And what would you change?
If you are not chosen for the head GM role, would you want to be considered for co-GM? (The GM selected will name their new co-GM and have access to all of the interviews.)
Feel free to ask questions of your own as well. The more, the better. I highly encourage being proactive if you want to stand out from the other candidates. We do have a few internal candidates already, but want to make sure we interview everyone who is interested. The replacement will be interviewed by myself, chosen by the team, and approved by HO. For this reason, be aware that all conversations related to this matter will be documented and shared in both the team LR and with HO, so that they can make a decision with as much information as possible. As always with GM roles, please ask your current GM for permission before applying.
(S21 rookies will not be eligible for the head GM role as we can not guarantee being able to draft you, but if you are interested, you can apply for the co-GM role and your interest will be made known to the GM in the event that the team able is able to successfully draft you.)

Quick update: We currently have 6 applicants and are continuing to accept applications through midnight tonight. I'm lax on this, so if I get your application prior to early tomorrow, I'll include it.
Starting tomorrow, the team will spend the next few days discussing the applications and vote on their choice for the next GM. That GM will then be allowed to name their co-GM. They will receive access to the other applications, but are not limited to only people who applied for the head GM role if they feel another option is available.

With respect to the other candidates, I half want to give it to @run_CMC just to make him go through the horror of being a GM again.
