*Part 1: DSFL to NSFL Draft Biggest raisers - majesiu - 02-14-2020 Time for some new media series, now that I finally recreated. S3 redraft series is still on hold, similarly to the HoF edition, I might do some Vladimir Fyodorovich resume keeping wiki up to date, but while falling asleep at 1 am I got this idea to analyze how much correlation there is between being originally drafted to DSFL team and then position you got in NSFL draft. I'll try to catch some GMs, but since it's the span of ~2 years (S5 NSFL draft to S19) likely some slip through, especially the early ones when I wasn't yet in the league or the most recent ones, one I wasn't as active. I'll be listing all players and after that will present finding analysis. Let's start with a category, that won't have an impact on that analysis, namely, the DSFL waiver creates that was later drafted to the NSFL and identify the biggest raisers there. If I recall correctly, I was one in S6, so let's see if 3rd OA was highest ever or do we have other outliers. Sorted for now by raw position, for reference there is also the position in that draft class, which could be a better measure of success. Actually let's go that route and sort by the relative percentage of position in NSFL draft class. It can go higher than 1, as teams could have passed before picking such player, so it's kind of neat measure for this actually. Draft position change will be more useful once we get to players actually drafted to DSFL first.
