After reading the PT for this weekend (nominating someone for top 50), I'd like to suggest a future variation: no more nominating yourself.
I think that having to nominate others helps build a feeling of community, with the nominators needing to appreciate for the abilities of other players, and nominees needing to read the posts of others to see their player praised.
Loving the site so far.

I agree, I did somebody else for the PT (albeit somebody who easily deserves it in Ramrio) but doing it for yourself seems to be a bit of a cop out.

Well I think it's okay to write it about yourself if you aren't an obvious candidate. But if you're a shoe-in for the top-50 try to talk up a teammate. I did that for George Wright Jr.

Your logic makes sense, but wouldn't it be more gratifying if you nominated another less obvious candidate and someone else nominated your player?

Full disclosure, I wrote about myself because I was on mobile and limited on time. It's definitely a ton easier to write about yourself. I like this idea though, good suggestion!
