*OL Prospect Bruce Buckley - NicholasTheGreat - 02-19-2020 OL Prospect Bruce Buckley involved in repeated beefs on Twitter. The biggest draft class in NSFL history has resulted in some prospects darker sides coming out. Numerous players have been posting egotistical outbursts on the social media platform Twitter. One of the most outrageous and ludicrous outbursts have come from offensive line Bruce Buckley, out of Western Sydney University in Australia. Buckley one of the most intriguing prospects in the draft originates from Australia and has not played any organised tackle American Football. He has the strength and size to make it in the league but he more then likely needs to take a look at himself if he wants to fit in a locker room well in the DSFL this year and the NSFL the next. Buckley’s twitter handle which is @BruceBuckley51 has only been after for a few days but he has already put out several offensive and inflammatory messages on the platform targeting other prospects, the league and positions. For the rest of the article, I will post and analyse several of these tweets. His first tweet was the following: @NSFLFootball Why should I be made to go through the DSFL. I am the best lineman in the WORLD. You want me to go through the same process as scrubs like Tommy Sacamano?!?!? In this tweet, Buckley has taken aim at the league by trying to state that he is above the league’s rules which require him to go through the developmental league. Buckley has shown disdain for the league which is giving him an opportunity to make a name for himself. He needs to realise that he needs to do his time in the developmental league to earn the opportunity to be what he says he is. This reporter has seen numerous players in his time run his mouth, but Buckley has to be one of the cases where the backstory does not relate to the mouth. He doesn’t have the reputation at the moment. @TSacamano Do you really think you stand a chance against me? I don't even deserve to be in the DSFL, i'm too good Following the first tweet was a series of attacks at another offensive line prospect, Tommy Sacamano. Regular assumptions were made about Buckley and his ability and the fact that he feels disrespected by the fact the league requires him to go through the developmental league and the fact that everybody should know his name. Coming from the prospect who hasn’t made a name for himself in his home country or in college, he should make sure he has respect which will carry him through the league. Because i am forced to go through the DSFL. However the humility is short lived as he then decides to dictate his time in the league will be short-lived. While it may look like a change, there is still nothing changing in Buckley’s attitude. At least I am not afraid to get my hands dirty unlike you wannebes who pretend to be playing flag football. Finally, we move to the part where Buckley starts to antagonise other positions. In this specific example, he is attacking the cornerback position by saying they are ‘pretenders’. He has also attacked tight ends as well. Buckley has antagonised a lot of people so far in his short stint on twitter. Only time will tell is he will accept advice being given to him and settle down or if his hot headedness will continue.
