*Osiris Firestorm-Fjord Pre-Draft Presser - HalfEatenOnionBagel - 02-24-2020
Osiris strides into the room and makes his way to the podium, an imposing figure as most NSFL players are. The generally boisterous conversation in the room falls to just a few hushed tones as the media representatives realize that the press conference is about to begin. As Osiris takes his third step up to the stage, he let's out a deafening fart. The room is now absolutely silent; you could hear a flea sneeze. Everyone is well aware of the culprit but Osiris does not flinch or break his stride once. His composure is that of a king preparing to address his subjects, totally focused and self-assured. It is this composure and mentality that makes him one of the top prospects in the S21 draft outside of his physical capabilities. What would have been an embarrassing blunder for most human beings has not phased him. In fact, if anything he has only gained more respect from those that have witnessed it. He finally makes his way to the microphone and speaks to those waiting in eager anticipation:
"Alright, let's have some fun."

I would say that my greatest attribute is my dedication. I work hard off the field and on the field to hone my craft, to be a leader and just to make myself and my teammates better. The thing about work ethic and dedication is that it's an infectious thing. It's what gets you through the tough times as a team and makes you that much stronger when the team is ready to rumble. I'm not ashamed to do the dirty work in the blocking game or take whatever role the team needs me to, as long as I'm part of what's working towards our team success.

Doing what exactly? Bwahahaha just kidding I know what you're asking. I think in a way it just confirms to myself that I'm following the right path to be successful in the league. It was a little disheartening to fall so far in the DSFL draft. I know that players coming out of my agency haven't been superstars exactly but I thought their solid track record would have preceded me. But now that coaches and scouts are taking a closer look and saying I've got what it takes to be a conerstone for a team, I know I just have to keep moving on the path I'm making for myself. Of course with the round one capital comes high expectations, but I think I've got what it takes to meet those. Oh man you got me so damn HYPED for draft day now.

Let me just say I love this S21 class and all the players and personalities. I'm going to be very happy with the guys that end up in my locker room. That being said my two favorite Portland teammates in Perry Tucker Jr and Otis Allen are the two guys that I'd want to team up with again the most. We've had a lot of fun in Portland. I also think it would be awesome to be drafted along with another member of TE GANG like McDavid or Gelbman to run some 12 personnel. Unfortunately it's extremely unlikely any of those scenarios happen but I can dream. As far as veterans I'm just looking forward to getting involved in an offense with an established QB where I could really showcase some of my skills.

1. I assume one of the teams picking late in the first round (Chicago, NOLA, Yellowknife, Austin). I think that's just going to be how the draft shakes out with so many good defensive players and I think any of those teams could benefit from my addition. Chicago or Yellowknife seem most likely based on their current TE situations.
2. Already talked on this subject a little bit but I don't see why Perry Tucker Jr and I couldn't end up in the same place based on current projections. If you're asking just who in general I could end up on the same team as you gotta be joking man. How the fuck could I even predict that?

I don't really like to compare myself to other guys like that, especially players I have a lot of respect for. I think we both play a similar game. How successful we are at the next level is going to come down to how our teams use us as compared to how much better one is than the other. He's got a fantastic work ethic like myself and as I said before I'd much rather have him as a teammate than not. I think on draft day the teams that draft is are both going to be very happy with what they get. I am 2 inches taller though.

The room remains silent for what feels like an entire day. It seems that most of the reporters were not anticipating Osiris Firestorm-Fjord to be making an appearance. Most of them have grown quite sick of hearing about him at this point. It's the incoming S22 players they were hoping to get a swing at before anyone else could. Suddenly one rather short and smelly reporter pushes himself to the front of the room to ask a question.
