*A Way to In-Depth Analysis - s4ndr0p - 03-01-2020 DISCLAIMER: When I created this article I did not know the TPEs for the Prospect Bowl would be set to 50. Therefore this data can not be used for predicting the outcome of the bowl in any way. I guess it is just a "nice to know"- league analysis. Hello everyone. With the upcoming Prospect BOWL, I thought it would be nice to get a picture of the team you are playing in. That is why I decided to look at the TPE the offensive players already gained. I have provided a list for you with the TPE of every offensive player in the prospect bowl. However, I did not include the bots since no one cares about them. Because of the high amount of bots playing in the offensive line I did not count the OL Prospect into the "Average Starter TPE". The positions used for the "Average Starter TPE"-calculations were: 1 Quarterback, 1 Runningback, 2 Wide Receivers, 1 Tight End. I counted only the players with the highest TPE to be the starter at this position. I also counted the banked TPE into the totals because they could be used before the bowl, I guess. If there was a created player who already did a couple of point tasks but failed to create an update page I set his TPE to 50. I also wanted to both do this for the offensive and defensive players but I don't know if I am going to find the time to look at the defense yet. I want to apologize if I made a mistake with your amount of TPE. If that is the case just leave me the info in the comments so I can correct it. Furthermore, I want to express my respect for every updater on this site because understanding the many unique update pages is not that easy. I think this aspect might need to be explained a bit more in the rookie guide. That or people just have to read better. With all the hype of the large amount of new players coming into this league, I was sad to see how few really reached the 70TPE mark. It's wild how many of the created Players stopped after completing the first few rookie point tasks or even before creating their update page. Okay, Let's get to the results though. Here are The Rankings for the categories "Average TPE" and "Average Starters TPE". Find the position grades at the bottom of this article! There are way to many factors I did not use for this analysis, starting with defensive players. Furthermore, there would have to be a weighting of the most important players because I am pretty sure the TPE of the QBs are more important, since he gets the ball basically on every play, than let's say a Tight End. Then there are the individual stats I did not look at. A 100 TPE Pocket Passer QB is going to have a completely different simulation than a 100 TPE Scrambling QB Type. What I do think though is that these lists provide a good orientation of the best players in this league. Too bad I did not finish this before the DSFL-Draft (Sorry GMs). I hope that you were able to get to know the guys you're playing with a bit better through this media piece. Oh and yeah ... you can't change the title of the topic. It's "too". All the TPE were transferred on March/1/2020. I will not provide changes in the data after that. Thank you for reading. GoAtoms! Code: hard to say how many words there are since there are many lists in it. Google Docs tells me it's 2582 words. Since it is Draft related (because of prospect ratings) I would like to get the 1,5 media bonus. *A Way to In-Depth Analysis - Thor - 03-01-2020 This is a pretty cool scouting insight in general! The prospect bowl games are played with 50tpe builds but nevertheless it's very interesting to see the spread of talent *A Way to In-Depth Analysis - s4ndr0p - 03-01-2020 (03-02-2020, 01:15 AM)Feeler Wrote:This is a pretty cool scouting insight in general!
