*Greatest QB of All Time to Retire - Huskies311 - 03-03-2020
Breaking news out of the NSFL today, where we learned that the undisputed greatest quarterback of all time, Gimmy Jarapollo, is set to retire at the conclusion of the season. This is a huge blow to his massive fan base, and to the league in general. Owners around the league are already preparing for the inevitable decline in sales, merchandise, and viewership.
Gimmy joined the league almost exactly a year ago today, as the crown jewel of the inaugural r/nfl class. Since then, he has been a staple of the DSFL. His achievements are too many to list in full, but I’ll name some of the main ones:
- He led Norfolk to a perfect season
- He is the sole reason Tijuana won 3 Ultimini’s in a row.
- He never leaks DMs
- He scared greg gaines into retirement
So in collaboration with the Church of Gimmy and the NSFL, every game this season will be dedicated to him. Free jerseys, bobble heads, and more will be provided throughout the season.
We reached out earlier to Gimmy to get his thoughts on retirement. This is how it went.
Reporter:
“Hey Gimmy. How does it feel to leave the game on top of the world, with a legacy that likely won’t ever be matched?”
Gimmy:

Brilliantly said.
We also reached out to some members in the league, to get their thoughts.
One member of HO had this to say:
“The day that Gimmy is retired is the day that the light that shines on my soul goes dark."
Another user, an NSFL GM, shared his thoughts on Gimmy:
“I’d trade my entire roster just to be the man who gives Gimmy his water.”
A DSFL GM also got back to us, saying:
“A year ago today, I joined this league. On that very same day, Gimmy was created. I've never known a day in this league without Gimmy, and I don't think I want to. Can you imagine the DSFL without Gimmy? I can't. It wasn't his time yet, I'm still searching for who to blame for all of this."
I’d like you all to join the league in saying goodbye to Gimmy on his farewell tour.

Wait a second? You think Gimmy scared Greg into retirement. Husky you better keep talking shut behind that screen of yours because I will literally beat you to death for those words. Greg Gaines has been proven to have beaten Gimmy in a fight and he could kick your ass too. Just wait and you’ll get a knock on your door and you’ll hear a soft “Hi Grack” from outside. Once you beat that you’ll know your life is done and I won’t even pity you. Good riddance
