*The NSFL Goes to the NFL Returns! - CLG Rampage - 03-04-2020 Ladies and gentlemen, the series returns! With me having a bit of free time over these past few days, I wanted to finish up this season for the Saskatoon Nobles and perhaps start gathering a second roster. I would like to welcome the Saskatoon Nobles back into Madden! It's been a damn long time since I've done one of these articles, about three months ago, in fact. For anyone that can't remember the team or the rules I set for myself in Madden, I've linked some of the old articles down below to help refresh your memories. The Roster The Rules and Game 1 Recap These two weeks were games that I was able to livestream. For anyone that gave it a view, thank you very much! I'll link the games down below for anyone who wants to watch the full thing, but as always, I'll put the big statlines as well as final score and my thoughts down below! The game vs. the Ravens begins at around 3:12 and the game vs. the Bengals begins at around 42:24. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZR1Q1zmcVo Game 8, Nobles vs Ravens Final Score: 27 Nobles, 21 Ravens I made this game far, far harder than it should have ever been. The defense absolutely crushed the Ravens offense, but our offense had way, WAY too many hiccups for my liking. 4 Interceptions, 2 from Armstrong and 2 from Bigsby lead the Ravens to an early lead. Thankfully, Bigsby put some decent drives together near the end of regulation and Gump had a solid day, edging out the Ravens in OT. Notable Statlines Gump - 9 Carries, 102 Yards, 1 TD Leaf Jr. - 5 Tackles, 3 Sacks Alexander - 5 Tackles, 1 TFL, 1.5 Sacks My Player of the Game - Ryan Leaf Jr. Leaf comes in clutch again on the defensive line. 3 Sacks is a pretty impressive statline on its own and the 5 tackles he had helped hold the Ravens to very little gain on the ground. Game 9, Nobles vs. Bengals Final Score: 27 Nobles, 6 Bengals Once again, I suck at Madden but the defense put in solid work and made sure Dalton and the Bengals offense couldn't get down the field. They had to settle solely for field goals as they got stopped over and over again with three picks thrown by Dalton. Offense wasn't great, but once again the defense pulls through. Notable Statlines Gump - 12 Carries, 68 Yards, 2 Catches, 52 Yards, 1 Total TD Emoji - 3 Tackles, 2 INTs, 2 INT Return TDs My Player of the Game - Emondov Emoji Emoji made Dalton look like a high school QB. Whenever Dalton tried to throw his way, Emoji was easily able to snag the ball. Both times he was able to get an interception, he was able to score, giving the Nobles an easy victory. Now that this series is back, I'll see what I can do to release them weekly, at the latest. No guarantees, of course, but I'll do my best.
