Coming back from the dead - 4D Chess - 07-10-2017

Hello everyone,

I am the artist formerly known as Kingfish (played in SBA for a hot second) and hobobilly (too many failed leagues to remember... mainly EPL, Bring The Heat, some other football ones) but it's probably been about 2 years since I've played in a sim league.

I'm strongly considering making a player in this league, I want to make a WR and am wondering if you all consider that a good idea or not. Also, is the timing good to create a player? If I don't create one by the draft will I have to sit around and do nothing for a whole season?

Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces around here, I definitely recognize Molholt! With that in mind, does anyone know of a baseball sim like this?

There should be some starting spots at WR throughout the league in this coming season and if you're going hard on your player you could probably secure one. At the very least I think there are a lot of opportunities for #3 guys that will get limited snaps.

If you wait until after the draft you'll be a free again, so you'd go to the team that snags you from the wire. Then you'll be drafted in the S3 draft.

Thanks for the response, what do you think is the smarter option?

If you create before the draft you at least have some say in where you go, meaning you can scope out who needs a wr and who doesn't. If you create after the draft you will be picked up on a waiver system so you don't get any say really where you wanna go.

Alright dope, I'm gonna send you a PM. I'm at work but I'll try and create a player by the end of the day

I would probably try to get drafted this season just because I think it'd be annoying getting randomly put on two teams before being a FA.

The benefit of waiting is you could build up TPE all of S2 and be a top guy in the S3 draft, but you're not going to be any/better or worse compared to the S2 and S1 guys.

Wow y'all are helpful as shit. Now I just need to think of a clever player name.

Harris Smith with Plaxico Burress as your render choice.
