Experts say that games are won in the trenches, so for this piece I thought we should take a look at the big men in the middle.
The first thing we need to look at is how these teams stack up against each other.

As you can see the Outlaws have a 3.5 point average on the D-line and average nearly 2.5 points higher on the O-line. Theoretically, this means that Outlaws should frequently be winning the battle up front while on defense and their O-line should hold their own against the Yetis' D-line just a little better.
Now that we have the individual personnel comparison out of the way, the next step is to see how they fared as a group.

Now, as you can see, the stats give a slight edge to the Yetis' offensive line and the Outlaws' defensive line. The Yetis O-line average about a pancake more per game and allow roughly half a sack less per game when compared to the Outlaws. The Outlaws D-line, however, average about a half sack more per game and one more tackle per loss, when compared to the Yetis' D-line.
While season stats show a trend, the best way to compare teams is to look at their results when actually facing each other. Luckily, the Outlaws and Yetis played each other twice this year, in weeks 11 and 13.

The head to head comparison shows some interesting things. For example, the Yetis have won the pancake battle both times in head to head, as well as over the course of the season, despite having a lower overall average. However, the Outlaws still record more sacks and tackles for loss, as well as allowing less sacks. In fact, in 2 games, the Yetis allowed 10 sacks, while the Outlaws have only allowed 6. The difference in tackles for loss is even greater. The Outlaws recorded 11 in these 2 games while the Yetis only recorded 4, which, considering the teams carry the same overall rating, is quite shocking.
Giving everything we've seen here, I would give a slight edge to the Outlaws' O-line, and a big edge to the Outlaws' D-line tonight. While these statistics show a clear trend, there's a reason they play the game!
