Sig 1: The Biggest issue is the lack of cohesion between your render, Background, and Cityscape. I do think you have good synergy between your text and the checkerboard pattern. However, the render and city need more love to lay into the bg more. I would also suggest enlarged the render more so. I think your swap is alright with the helmet being the weakest part of it. I think you did a good job blending the pythons text in. To help with the helmet, getting the right angle and warping for the logo will give you the best bang for your buck. Some minor issues with the cut around the arm. I always find the arms to be hard to get the cleanest if using a quick select tool. If you are using PS, I would recommend using the history brush and cleaning that up. Sig 2: Similar issues to sig 1; cohesion of the elements. It very much fits on a similar theme, but as I look at it, I feel I was too harsh. The Face swap is well done but not perfect, and it seems that you warped the X's and O's which shows a good understanding of the program. I think having the render not having shoulders comes off as an odd choice, and has the render floating a lot more than it should. Going off intent with this, I think a 3 is a suitable new grade, and I will change it accordingly. One suggestion would be to enlarge and move over the XX's and O's to cut down on the empty space in the bottom along with adding some drop shadows to the text and render to create depth. |
